Avondhu Blackwater need your help Avondhu Blackwater Partnership are seeking volunteers to assist in delivering computer training to the over 60’s. The local development company administer the Blackwater Community Connect programme, a befriending service for the older citizens in North Cork and through this they have launched a training programme for those who have no experience using IT. The training takes place in the offices of Avondhu Blackwater Partnership in Fermoy every Monday and will run until June. Volunteers do not need to be qualified trainers, anybody used to browsing the internet, sending emails, paying bills, downloading digital photographs etc would be welcome as the course aims to train basic usage skills.
