WI Wales Conference - Tuesday 16 April at St Julian’s School, Newport, Gwent. Theme - ‘Regeneration / Adfywio’. Speakers, Julie Lydon, University of South Wales Newport and Elaine Theaker, long-distance Atlantic challenge rower. After a discussion in your WI the votes need to be sent on the lilac slip to Ein Swyddfa to arrive no later than Friday 15 February on the lilac slip. The totals will be forwarded to NFWI. The resolution gaining most votes will be discussed and voted on in the AGM. Elizabeth Bell Photographic Competition ‘A Year in your WI’. This is a national WI competition. 12 photographs accompanied by a supporting paragraph of no more than 100 words to be sent to Ein Swyddfa for the Federation round. Closing date Thursday 14 February 2019. The entry form has been sent to you and is also available online at ‘The WI-Elizabeth Bell Photo Competition’ or can be obtained from Ein Swyddfa. We look forward to seeing your entries. This is a good opportunity to promote your WI. Three winning entries from Ceredigion will be entered in the national competition.
