Students helped Ms. Barbary decide whether to put a fiction or a non-fiction on the spines of new books for the library! Two books have both a and a . Students thoughtfully engaged in a debate on books that had both elements of fiction and non-fiction in them. We decided to give these books both a circle and a star! Kindness projects included collecting data from other grades about their favorite snacks, preparing popular treats, and delivering them to classes for everyone to enjoy! Another project was a Kindness Carnival to celebrate kindness and support an inclusive, caring community. Here are some books on kindness and friendship for the summer – spread the love!
