Remembering Pioneer talented Nigerian Sportsmen Tesilimi Olawale ‘Teslim’‘Thunder’ Balogun – (1927 – July 30,1972) played for Nigeria from 1948 -1960 became the Nigerian National Coach in 1968 ,after this he became Africa’s first Professional qualified coach.He played for many teams in Nigeria and England including the Queens Park Rangers. Samuel Sofuchukwuma Okwaraji was born on July 27, 1966, passed away during a World Cup 2nd round qualifying Match against Angola at the National Stadium Lagos on August 12, 1989.He was 25 years old. John Okechukwu Chiedozie was born on April 18, 1960 in Owerri, Nigeria.He was based in England where he played for Chesterfield FC, Notts County, Derby County, Tottenham Hotspur, Leyton Orient.He played in the Premier & European League.
