It is one of 36 watershed-based agencies within Ontario dedicated to the conservation and protection of the natural environment through a variety of management tools including land ownership, education, monitoring, reporting and regulation. To learn more about the lakes in our region, the CRCA and partners collect samples, take measurements and compare this information against established standards to identify any significant changes or areas of concern.
