As the expiration of the current contract approached, the Department issued Order 2019-11-10 on November 14, 2019, requesting proposals from air carriers interested in providing EAS for a new contract term at the community. Economic impact results from studies conducted by the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), for their seven airports in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metropolitan Area, are incorporated to provide a comprehensive summary of the annual economic impacts generated by all 133 public airports.
