Scully passa le festività con la sua famiglia, ma il clima di serenità viene sconvolto da un caso di una bambina malata che somiglia a Melissa Scully. La piccola Emily, sospettata di essere la figlia segreta di Melissa è in realtà di Dana. Generata artificialmente durante il rapimento dell'agente FBI, la bimba fa parte del progetto di ibridazione a cui il Governo Ombra lavorava già da diversi anni. Scully si ritrova così ad affrontare, anche se drammaticamente, quel senso di maternità che ha sempre soffocato per via della carriera, ma che prevarrà successivamente quando darà alla luce William. A M A R C O R D 6 BLUEBOOK x ON THE SET O N T H E S E T VECCHI LUPI DI MARE... Pausa scherzosa sul set per i veterani della serie: John Neville (l'Uomo distinto) e William B. Davis (Smoking man). Neville, nato a Londra il 2 maggio del 1925 (auguri!) ha una lunga carriera alle spalle cominciata proprio in TV nel 1955. Al cinema la gente lo ricorda soprattutto per il ruolo da protagonista ne “Il Barone di Munchausen, ma si segnalano interessanti partecipazioni in “Piccole donne”, “Star Trek”, “Il Quinto elemento”. Carter gli affida il ruolo di uno dei più importanti membri del Governo Ombra che tesse con sapienza la tela di macchinazione ai danni di Fox fino a sposare la causa di quest'ultimo, pur di salvare i suoi nipoti, nel film Fight the Future. Lo abbiamo visto in: Il rituale, Operazione Paper Clip, l'Ufo degli abissi, Tunguska, Patient X, Il rosso e il nero, La fine e X-Files – il film. L'Uomo Distinto o Uomo dalle mani curate, ha sempre manifestato un rapporto di conflittualità con l'Uomo che fuma, dai modi troppo risoluti e che ha il volto del canadese William Davis, un alto professore di arti drammatiche dall'andatura buffa. Da semplice presenza non parlante, ma inquietante dei primi episodi, CGB Spender, questo il suo nome, ha conquistato progressivamente consensi sino a diventare uno dei personaggi più importanti della serie, al punto che dalla sua morte, i fans sognano un suo ritorno, magari almeno in flash back nel terzo ed ultimo film del 2012. 7 BLUEBOOK FLASH 5 The Truth is here N NEWS NUOVI LAVORI PER FRANK SPOTNITZ La BBC1 ha annunciato la produzione di una nuova serie drammatica scritta da Spotnitz. Si tratta di una miniserie di genere Spy, dal titolo “Morton”, composta da 8 episodi alla quale, il condizionale è d'obbligo, potrebbe partecipare anche Gillian Anderson. Le buone notizie per Frank non finiscono qui. La Cinemax produrrà una serie d'azione intitolata Strike Back, in collaborazione con Sky e Left Bank Pictures. Il nuovo progetto è stato scritto da Frank Spotnitz e Richard Sadjlic ed è ispirato alla serie Sky, Strike Back (basato sul libro di Chris Ryan), che ha debuttato in TV la scorsa estate. Questa nuova versione di Strike Back avrà nuovi personaggi, nuove linee narrative e nuove impostazioni e la programmazione è prevista su Cinemax questa estate, a partire dal 12 agosto. Entertainment Weekly l'ha definita un mix fra "24” e “Call of Duty”. MAYBE THERE'! S HOPE THE DEAD WALKING 2 Dal mondo sotterraneo di Facebook arriva un messaggio di speranza per i fans. GISH DIVENTA PSICOLOGA Annabeth Gish è entrata a far parte del cast di Pretty Little Liars, serie tv dell'ABC, giunta alla seconda stagione che è iniziata lo scorso 14 giugno. Gish indossa i panni della terapista Anne Sullivan. Protagoniste sono 4 ragazze alle prese con il mistero della morte di un amico. Si tratta di un dramma adolescenziale strutturato su una rete di misteri, bugie, segreti e turbamenti psicologici. Vedendo la forma fisica della Gish, alzi la mano chi vorrebbe andare in analisi da lei! ROBERT PATRICK IN RED FACTION Con Red Faction, Robert Patrick torna ad occuparsi di Fantascienza. He has received over a dozen Emmy awards and ASCAP awards. Snow recently became the only American composer nominated for a César Award, the main national film award in France, for Best Music Written for the film “Coeurs” directed by the legendary French director Alain Resnais. Last year, he became the first composer to receive ASCAP’s prestigious Golden Note Award for significant impact on music culture.
