Semifinais do Campeonato Baiano Absoluto de Xadrez 2009 As semifinais serão realizadas por regiões com datas ainda não definidas, exceto a Macro-Região 01 (Salvador) que realizará a semifinal nos dias 04, 05, 06 e 07 de Setembro de 2009, tendo o ISBA (Instituto Social da Bahia) como local do evento. Eventos Realizados no Primeiro Semestre de 2009 IX Torneio de Xadrez Guararapes A Escola de Administração do Exército promoveu o IX Torneio de Xadrez Guararapes nos dias 18 e 19 de Abril, como parte das homenagens da Semana do Exército no EsAEx/Colégio Militar de Salvador. A direção do torneio ficou a cargo do Professor Daniel Goes e atuaram como Árbitros o AI Mauro Amaral da CBX e os árbitros da FBX Jorge Henri Labussière, Wilter Pereira Vieira, Gilberto Oliveira e Silva, Vânia Sampaio Botelho, Gileno Rodrigues do Amaral e Paulo Faraco.
