Potentially hazardous conditions and situations exist in all communities and Southwest Florida, home to SGCC, is occasionally vulnerable to hurricanes and severe weather-related events. This plan shall provide a framework for the Community to protect lives and property, endure, and recover from such an event. Authority and responsibility for direction and control of personnel, resources, and recovery efforts of the Community are an integral part of this basic plan.
