YEAR 10, 11 AND 12 OPTION CHOICES FOR 2021 Course booklets detailing the courses that we will be offering in 2021 will be given to all Year 10, 11 and 12 students in the next few weeks. The booklet will assist your daughter to decide which courses she would like to take in 2021. The students are using the course booklets in their tutor classes and we encourage you to have conversaons with your daughter about her goals for the future and her course selecon for 2021. If your daughter is in Year 11 or 12 you also have the opportunity to book an Academic Pathway interview for you and your daughter to meet with a senior teacher to further discuss her course selecƟon on either August 18th (Year 12) or August 27th (Year 11) between 3.30pm and 7.30pm. THE AGGS SCHOOL BALL

The amazing, incredible and thoroughly enjoyable AGGS SCHOOL BALL will be happening this year, a bit later than usual due to Covid 19 but definitely better late than never! This year the ball will be on Saturday 26 September, the first day of the school holidays. It will be held at the Eden Park South Lounge, entry through Gate H, 10 Reimers Avenue, Kingland. Gates will open at 7 p.m. and close at 8 p.m. and the ball will finish at the Cinderella hour of midnight. The ball is an alcohol and drug free event.

Tickets are $110 each. Students can purchase a maximum of 2 tickets each. The Accounts Office and Mrs Ikitomai in reception are accepting part payments now—minimum of $20. Students must have paid at least $60 per ticket by 21 August. Payment can also be made online to 12-3209-0059410-00. GEOGRAPHY CLASSES VENTURE OUT Year 13 Geography will be collecting data for a research project when they visit Jordan Park, Potters Park, Albert Park and Victoria Park during a day long trip on Wednesday 12 August.

Year 12 Geography will be heading further afield to Muriwai on the following Wednesday, 19 August to collect data for research on Coastal processes, including viewing the Gannet Colony from Otakamiro Point.

BARISTA TRAINING Our Year 12 Food Technology students enjoyed learning very useful Barista skills during this 3 day course at the Crown Institute of Studies and they have also gained 5 NCEA credits. Hot chocolate, flat whites, lattes, cappucci- nos, espressos and all the other ways that people like their coffee are all now part of the girls’ skill set.
