NETBALL MEDIA GUIDE 2019 ANZPREMIERSHIP.CO.NZ CONTENTS ABOUT THE ANZ PREMIERSHIP Media Resources / 5 Schedule / 10 New Zealand’s elite netball league, the ANZ Premiership, returns for its third season in 2019. Rules & Format / 12 The ANZ Premiership consists of six teams from around the country including the Northern Mystics, Northern Stars, Splice Construction Import Players / 15 Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic, Te Wananga o Raukawa Pulse, The Good Oil Tactix and Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel. Umpires / 16 Teams will go head-to-head throughout 13 rounds of competition, Key Information/ 20 including three triple-header Super Sundays (Rounds 1, 6 and 11), before the season draws to a close in a two-game Finals Series involving the top Northern Mystics / 25 qualifying three teams. The Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel come in as defending champions Northern Stars / 33 having won successive titles, with a three-peat in their sights this season. Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic / 41 All games will be broadcast LIVE on SKY Sport, with a weekly highlights show on Prime TV.
