Naan Traditional Indian Bread Naan traditional Indian bread Recipe for 4 persons Description Traditional bread served with curries. Note You know you have knead enough when you press the dough with your finger and it bounces back. It is a sign that gluten has developed. This recipe is even better when the bread is cooked on the BBQ. Ingredients For Naan 450 Gr Flour 2 Tsp Dry yeast 120 Ml Milk 2 Unit(s) Egg 20 Ml Canola oil 100 Gr Plain yogurt 10% 40 Gr Melted butter 1 Pinch(es) Salt 250 Gr Cream cheese Preparation Preparation time 30.00 mins Preheat your four at 425.00 F° Naan preparation In the food processor, put the warm milk, oil, the yeast, the flour, the salt, eggs and yogurt. Work it for 5 minutes, add the melted butter, and work it until the dough absorb all the butter. The dough should be sticky. Flour the table, and work the dough until no more air inside. Let it grow for 30 to 40 minutes room temp. Flour the table again, and form 10 balls, work the balls in your hand to get it nice and round with no air inside. Put it on a baking tray and let it grow for 30 more minutes. With a pastry roll or your fingers, spread it until it looks like a disc, put the cream cheese on half side and flip it to close it. And press it again to spread the cheese inside and make a disc again. Cook it in a dry pan until coloration but don't burn it, and finish in the oven 6 to 8 minutes on 425°F. Bon appétit!.

In a medium flame, add the Jaggery syrup to the same pan, add a pinch of salt, bring it to a boil, add urad dal powder little by little and stir well to avoid lumps. Add oil little by little and keep on stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of a pan. Serve hot or cold with a tsp of ghee. Make a small balls, in the center, add a tsp of ghee.

Roll out both the roti together to a very thin roti. Repeat the procedure to the rest of the dough.

    How To Make Aloo Paratha / Potato Stuffed Indian Bread Potato stuffed Indian flat bread also called aloo paratha in Hindi (amalgamation of two words, parat and atta which means layers of cooked dough) is a very popular breakfast dish in India. This flat Indian bread are made with whole wheat flour, stuffed with boiled potatoes, carom seeds, spices and ghee (clarified butter), cooked on a hot skillet with oil or butter and served with butter, yogurt and pickle. This is my classic family favorite paratha recipe. Every week I make variety of stuffed paratha, the stuffing may vary like spinach, cauliflower and peas. But I love aloo (potato) paratha, they are rich and delicious also I have added ajwain (carom seeds) to it, which makes the paratha more flavorful and aids in good digestion. Apart from that, I added some black salt, sugar and lemon juice, so you can taste all kinds of flavor on every single bite of paratha. Try this easy aloo paratha and let me know how it turned out. You can also serve aloo ajwain paratha with dal makhani or dal tadka .
