With each democracy being required to rely on the active participation of democrat- ically minded citizens, weEDUCATION seek to encourage participants to show such a significant commitment and give them the neces- sary skills. Factual information, opportunities to discuss matters of inter- est and exchange experience, as well as a close focus on the subject matter involved all serve this cause in a particular manner. Seminars are conducted at the Kloster Banz and Wildbad Kreuth Training Centres. Further events are held at the Munich Educational Centre Wildbad Kreuth Conference Centre and in various parts of Bavaria. In all, some 53,987 participants attended the 1,520 seminars.
