Page 26 ABOUT THE COMBINED FUND DRIVE After more than 35 years the Combined Fund Drive (CFD) has become one of the best public employee workplace giving programs in the nation. The CFD consolidates the numerous charitable fundraising campaigns being conducted at state work sites. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, millions of dollars are donated each year to charities throughout our community. This program provides donors with a fun, easy, and enjoyable giving experience.

The CFD has more than 1,000 volunteers across Washington state conducting fundraisers for charitable causes in their agencies. You can donate through payroll; or via personal check, cash, or a one-time credit card contribution at events.

Payroll Contribution • Choose to give $1 or more per paycheck as a monthly contribution, one-time donation or limited-time gift. • Manage your donation online 24/7 or donate with a paper contribution form. • Over 17,000 employees use the CFD every year to give to more than 4,500 local, national, and global charities. CFD MEMBER CHARITIES The Combined Fund Drive volunteers work tirelessly to improve their communities through donations and support to charities throughout the world. To become a CFD Member charity, a charity must have both of the following:
