The design road is crossed by 9 culverts of different lengths, 2 of which need replacement and 7 has to be rehabilitated. The ditches are to be arranged along the road, and the existing road side ditches need cleaning and upgrading to function. Some technical characteristics of the existing road are as follows: • Roadway width 5-9 m • Carriageway width 5 m • Shoulder width 0-2 m. The design alignment follows the existing route. Aiming at avoiding the encroachment upon the property or land occupation, the transitional curves are designed for the densely populated areas improving the safety and traffic comfort. Legend would have been just a good story if not for the great grandfather of the Askaneli’s, Anthimoz Chkhaidze. There in the winery vault built by him lays a pitcher dated 1880.

The PF is a state-owned investment fund that was founded in 2011.The PF is split into two separate business units: a) Asset management and b) investment capacity. The main source of PF’s revenue is the assets of five state-owned enterprises. Total value of projects in PF’s portfolio is over USD 2.5 billion, out of which GEL 330 million is a share of PF’s investment. In 2014-2017, the PF’s total assets grew by 16% and total equity decreased by 13%. The PF completed the financial year 2017 with a loss of GEL 482 million. In 2014-2017, a total loss amounted to GEL 528 million.

Georgian grapevine germplasm, which has formed for thousands of years, includes white, black, red, pink and grey 525 Vitis vinifera cultivars. In 2009–2014 up to 440 local grapevine varieties Vitis vinifera sativa has been restored. These varieties are cultivated in the LEPL Agriculture Scientific-Research Center grapevine collection GEO 038, Mtskheta Munisipal, village Jighaura, at an altitude 550 m. There are retrieved and recorded in the collection up to 60 forms of Vitis vinifera silvestris. In order to study biological and technological characteristics of Georgian grapevine, in 2012–2014 were investigated 50 Georgian widely cultivated white and colored wine and table grapes varieties, in the seven viticulture regions of Georgia. Description of grapevine varieties implemented through the descriptors for grapevine (IPGRI OIV). Botanical, biological- technological, qualitative and quantitative marks are characterized and evaluated. Investigation conducted during the biologic development phases were studied for chemical and eno-carpological characteristics.
