Wells, just named an Eastern Last Road Trip 5-1 League All-Star, comes into this outing with a 1.90 ERA, good for third in the Eastern League, and best among pitchers who are currently active on Eastern League rosters. In his last start, Wells pitched 5.1 innings in Harrisburg, Last 5 Games 3-2 allowing just a run on five hits and earned his second consecutive victory. This will be Wells' second start of the Last 10 Games 7-3 season against Hartford. The Overall Record 24-37 game was a pitcher's duel into the sixth inning, thanks to Baysox starter Alex Wells, who allowed just one earned Home Record 11-18 run in 6.0 innings of work. Portland scored one run in that sixth to take a 1-0 lead, but Bowie tied the game in the Road Record 13-19 top of the seventh on an RBI double from Preston Palmeiro. The game remained tied 1-1 until the top of the 11th, Versus Eastern Division 6-6 when Bowie took its first lead of the game on an RBI single from Carlos Perez. Portland tied the game at 2-2 in Versus Western Division 18-31 the bottom of that inning, but the Baysox answered with two runs in the 12th inning. Engelb Vielma and Ryan Current Streak W2 McKenna each had RBIs in that inning. Tyler Erwin pitched a scoreless bottom of the 12th to earn the win. Last Homestand 1-5 Last Road Trip 4-2 Baysox Starter: RHP Dean Kremer makes the start for the Baysox today. This will be his fourth start with Bowie and sixth start overall in 2019.

The Yard Goats Overall Record 34-40, 4-2 took the early lead, when Manuel Melendez led off the game with a home run. Hartford added another run in the Home Record 16-20 third inning on a wild pitch, making it 2-0. Bowie fought back to tie the game in the fourth inning on a solo home Road Record 18-20 run from Carlos Perez and an RBI double from Willy Yahn. Hartford scored the game deciding run in the seventh Versus Eastern Division 14-8 inning on an RBI single, making it 3-2. The Yard Goats bullpen was able to keep the Baysox off the board from that Versus Western Division 20-32 point on. Lowther, who was Last Road Trip 5-1 named an Eastern League All-Star on Monday, enters tonight with a 1.95 ERA, good for fourth in the league. In his last start in Hartford, Lowther earned the win and helped complete a series sweep, tossing 5.0 innings and allowing Last 5 Games 3-2 just one run on two hits.
