Wells, just named an Eastern Last Road Trip 5-1 League All-Star, comes into this outing with a 1.90 ERA, good for third in the Eastern League, and best among pitchers who are currently active on Eastern League rosters. In his last start, Wells pitched 5.1 innings in Harrisburg, Last 5 Games 3-2 allowing just a run on five hits and earned his second consecutive victory. This will be Wells' second start of the Last 10 Games 7-3 season against Hartford.
