Ademar Rifaela lined a two-run home run in the first inning for the Home Record 16-19 game's lone RBI hit, while Bruce Zimmermann tossed a four-hit shutout on 96 pitches to earn his second win of Road Record 14-19 the year. Versus Eastern Division 12-7 Versus Western Division 18-31 Baysox Starter: RHP Marcos Molina will be making his 11th start (12th appearance) for the Baysox in tonight's Current Streak W1 middle game of the three-game set. Molina comes into the game as the Baysox innings pitched leader, at 71.2. Current Homestand 5-1 Molina is coming off of a start vs. New Hampshire where he again proved dominant through the first six innings. Last Road Trip 1-0 The Fisher Cats did score three runs in the seventh inning, but the righty beared down to earn the win. Molina has been a model of consistency for Bowie this season, going at least 5.0 innings in all but one of his appearances, and Last 5 Games 4-1 allowing two earned runs or less seven times. Rifaela picked up his 500th career hit in the When Scoring First 22-9 Baysox win over New Hampshire on Thursday night. Pitchers Hunter Harvey (#12), Dillon Tate (#17), 5/31 vs. Hartford L, 2-1 Zach Pop (#20), Alex Wells (#26), Catcher Brett Cumberland (#24), InfielderRylan Bannon (#23) and Infielder 6/1 vs. Hartford L, 3-1 Mason McCoy (#30) round out the top prospects that are spenidng the 2019 campaign with the Baysox. 6/2 vs. Hartford W, 5-2 6/18 at Hartford W, 2-0 The Buck Starts Here: 2019 marks Buck Britton's first season as manager of the Bowie Baysox. Britton replaces 6/19 at Hartford Gary Kendall, who was the head man in Bowie from 2011-2018. Britton picked up his first victory as a AA manager 6/20 at Hartford on April 7 against the Harrisburg Senators. Last season, Britton managed the Delmarva Shorebirds, leading the 6/24 vs. Hartford club to a 68-66 record. Prior to getting into coaching, Britton played nine seasons in Minor League Baseball, and 6/25 vs. Hartford spent parts of 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 with the Baysox.
