I wanted this vision to be translated by a strategy that focused, in particular, on the development of locally recognized sectors: healthcare, digital technologies and agri-food. Each of these sectors, with their specific characteristics and environments, historical assets and recognized expertise, contributes to the economic development of our region. Each of these sectors is involved in innovative projects that will help promote Dijon metropole and its key players both nationally and internationally: OnDijon, ReadapTIC as well as Alimentation Durable 2030 (Sustainable food by 2030). The shared expertise and interactions between our sectors of excellence create optimal conditions for the emergence of experimentation and innovation. At the same time, Dijon metropole has also continued to diversify its spheres of activity and plans to promote emerging sectors, including energy transition, with its green hydrogen project. To achieve this ambitious goal, Dijon metropole has set itself the target of converting its entire public transport bus fleet, as well as its refuse collection trucks, to run on hydrogen! In addition, higher education establishments will be offering a broader and accredited range of courses to support knowledge and encourage a new pool of talent. We’ve set the wheels in motion and I’m thrilled! But Dijon metropole does not intend to stop here: new tech transfer will help create additional large- scale projects thanks to an ecosystem that has all the attributes needed to foster such initiatives. Investors, corporate leaders and start-ups should all choose Dijon metropole to launch and develop their projects. Projects that we can help you realize.
