Sometime, these three words are mentioned stand alone in verse, sometime in a series. They mentioned in a series in six verses, there are An-Nahl: 78; al- isro‟:36; sajdah: 9; mu‟minun:78; al-ahqaf: 26; al-mulk: 23. In this case, the writer try to analysis the meaning of Sam„,baṣar and fu‟ād by applying semantic approach. According to this approach, there are two kinds of meaning; basic meaning and relational meaning. The basic meaning of sam„ is hearing. While the relational meaning of sam„ is divided in two categories. First, sam„ shows the characteristic of Allah. Second, sam„ relates to human sense. It has some meanings, There are: 1) Sam„ means hearing; 2) Sam„ shows the activity of hearing; 3) Sam„ means understanding. The basic meaning of baṣar means vision. And the rational meaning is divided in two categories. First, baṣar indicates the Characteristic of Allah. Second, baṣar that rely on the Humankind. It has some meanings, there are: 1) Baṣar means “the body part that use to see (eye) and its power”; 2) Baṣar means “the power of heart to reach something; 3) Baṣar means “ma‟rifah and tahaqquq”;4) Baṣar means “teaching” (ibrah) ;5) Baṣar means “witness” ;6) Baṣar means “clear”; 7) Baṣar means “luminous”. Also fu‟ād has basic meaning, the flame heart. While

So fear him so that you may show gratitude.1 REASON OF THE BATTLE It all began with the al-’Ushayrah Invasion when a caravan belonging to Quraysh had escaped an imminent military encounter with Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam and his men. When their return from Syria approached, Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam despatched Sayyiduna Talhah ibn ‘Ubayd Allah and Sayyiduna Sa’id ibn Zayd radiya Llahu `anhuma northward to scout around for any movements of this sort. The two scouts stayed at al-Howra’ for some days until Abu Sufyan, the leader of the caravan, passed by them. The two men hurried back to Madinah and reported to Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam their findings. Great wealth amounting to 50 thousand dinars (gold coins) guarded by 40 men moving relatively close to Madinah constituted a tempting target for the Muslim military, and provided a potentially heavy economic, political and military strike that was bound to shake the entire structure of the Makkan polytheists. Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam immediately exhorted the Muslims to rush out and waylay the caravan to make up for their property and wealth they were forced to give up in Makkah.

This was a necessity for the fulfillment of their mission. Their relationship with God and the resulting knowledge and understanding of the universe strengthened their capacity in regards to positive thinking and action. This work analyses three caseswhich capture the positive thinking and positive action style of Prophet Muhammad. These include his relationships with two great enemies of Muslims, Khalid ibn Walid, Abu Sufyan, and the young Abu Mahzurah who mocked an Islamic symbol. The Prophet’s interaction and mention of these people are guides to how Muslims should respond to negativity and hatred. This article argues that a solid understanding of the Prophet’s positive thought and action is lacking within many Muslims, and this in turn leads to great misunderstandings and misapplications of faith.     Remerciements Je tiens tout d’abord à adresser mes plus sincères remerciements à mes deux directeurs de thèse, le professeur Alberto Ventura, exemple constant de vraie sagesse et de grande humanité, qui m’a dévoilé de nouveaux champs de savoir, et au professeur Mrad qui m’a accompagnée avec beaucoup de disponibilité et de gentillesse et envers lequel j’éprouve une profonde estime. Un remerciement spécial va au professeur Yadh Ben Achour qui a inspiré cette thèse, l’a vu naître et l’a encouragée. Il a su me montrer, avec des yeux neufs, un pays dans lequel je vivais depuis 15 ans, mais dont j’avais sous-estimé l'immense histoire et la richesse culturelle. Les mots ne sont pas suffisants pour exprimer la profonde admiration intellectuelle que je ressens à son égard. A personal biography of `Iyäd is provided in chapter one, covering his education and his intellectual and religious influences. Chapter two provides an economic, political and religious overview of the period during which `Iyäd was active, as a means of placing his work in a historical context. Chapter three offers a critical study of the Tanbihät, defining its content and style, and a commenting on its formative influences, in particular with regard to the Mudawwanah of Sahnün, which the Tanbihat seeks to abridge, as well as listing the commentaries this work has spurned.
