04 Nights Baku PLAISIR HOSPITALITY SERVICES Program: 04 Nights Baku Day 1 – Arrival to Baku Upon arrival to International airport of Baku the tourist will be met by our representative.After meeting we will transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival to the hotel we will have check in to the hotel and have a free time. Overnight in Baku. Day 2 – Baku City Tour and Ateshgah Temple Tour Start exploring Baku. Panorama of the city presented to the height of the mountainous part of a television tower clearly gives an idea of the contrasts and the extent of Baku, the horseshoe bay of Baku. The city is shaped like an amphitheater, descending to the Caspian Sea. Tour covers the central part of the city showing the most interesting historical and architectural sites. Visiting of "Old Town” or “Inner City”. The territory of ”Inner City” - 22 hectares, which represents a small fraction of the total area of Baku (44,000 hectares). However, the concentration of architectural and historical monuments, dictates the need for this excursion into a separate and make this part of Baku, perhaps the most interesting to explore. Maiden Tower (XII century), Palace of Shirvanshahs (XV century), Castle Synyk Gala, Caravan Saray, Juma Mosque - this is not a complete list of attractions of the old Baku. Lunch is at Indian restaurant. Transfer back to Hotel. Overnight in Baku. Day 3 – Ateshgah Fire Temple and Yanardag, Burning mountain Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will start our tour with excursion to Ateshgah. The temple of fire worshippers Ateshgah is located at the Apsheron peninsula at the outskirts of Surakhani village in30 km from the centre of Baku and was revered in different times by Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs. Current constructions of the temple are dated by XVII century. Because of excavations far more ancient artifacts were discovered here. Pentagonal complex has an open courtyard with temple-altar in the center which was the place of pilgrimage for worshippers. By the decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ateshgah was declared a State historical-architectural reserve. This museum under the open sky was recently restored. Different workshops and souvenir galleries are located here now Lunch is at Indian restaurant. Later, excursion to Yanar Dag. You can see here nature phenomenon, incessant burning nature gas on the rock which named to the Yanar Dag reserve the burning rock. As the PLAISIR HOSPITALITY SERVICES historians say, maybe this place gave the name *the fire country* to Azerbaijan. Overnight in Baku Day 4 –Modern Baku Breakfast at the hotel. Explore modern parts of Baku, first we will visit Heydar Aliyev Cultural Complex (Photo Stop) which was built for memory of great national leader. After we will visit Baku City Center with tour of Highland Park & Flame Towers, Baku boulevard to see old and new boulevard. Lunch is at Indian restaurant Transfer back to Hotel. Overnight in Baku. Day 5 - Departure Today after breakfast will be free time. Depend on departure time our bus will take you to International airport of Heydar Aliyev. Departure home. The expansive growth looks to uphold the historic past of Baku as a focal point within the Caspian Sea Region while also evoking aspirations for a city of the future. With superstructure complete and interiors progressing, the Ministry of Taxation (MOT) tower is the latest addition to the city, with its stacked cubes twisting above a multi-level podium at the base. Each cube is separated by column-free green roof terraces, creating unique parametric reveals of the developing surroundings. Aside from MOT’s stunning shape, its geolocation resulted in unusually high wind loads coupled with high seismic hazards for a tower of its height. In addition, limitations on possible structural systems required stepping away from a typical prescriptive code-based approach into one that utilized Performance-Based Design (PBD) methods. This paper presents the numerous structural challenges and innovations that allowed the design of a new icon to be realized.
