Health and safety protocol of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode - services provided for the fashion shows and presentations of the Paris Fashion Week Womenswear SS 2021 This protocol was drafted on the basis of the joint work of the legal and social commissions of the FHCM and the advice of the Ile de France Regional Health Agency, but also with regard to the "national deconfinement protocol for companies to ensure the health and safety of employees" of May 3 and August 31, 2020. It is also subject to the provisions of decree no. 2020-860 of July 10, 2020, as amended, prescribing the general measures necessary to deal with the Covid-19 epidemic in territories that have emerged from the state of health emergency and those where it has been extended, and to prefectural order no. 2020-0666 of August 27, 2020, as amended. The purpose of this protocol is to outline the scope of health protection measures and conditions of intervention for service providers working on the fashion shows and presentations venues, as well as the models provided by the partner model agencies, in order to enable Paris Fashion Week® to be held in the best possible health and safety conditions. In order to limit the risks of propagation of Covid 19 during Paris Fashion Week®, each House undertakes to encourage the screening of its teams and those of its service providers prior to any visit to the venue for casting/fittings and/or the assembly/disassembly of the fashion show and the fashion show itself, in particular in the event of suspicion of contamination (presence of symptoms, case of Covid 19 declared in the person's entourage). In addition, each House may also put in place additional measures such as temperature taking of any person before entering these premises. The Houses may also incentivise the downloading of the "stopcovid" application by any appropriate means, in particular by displaying signs on the premises. Likewise, compliance with quarantine procedures and restrictions on access to French territory, as defined at the following URL address: https://reopen.europa.eu/fr/map/FRA, is mandatory. Each House listed on the Calendar must ensure that all of its service providers undertake to comply with this protocol. The health protocols of all the providers commissioned by the House should be in line with the following framework and, if necessary, should be completed. To this end, and to ensure the effectiveness of the alert procedure set out in point 8), each House and each service provider must designate a contact person and keep an up-to-date register of these contacts. 1) Place of performance The services can be carried out in different places corresponding to the fittings / fashion shows / shootings. The entire set of measures provided for in this Protocol shall be accessible and applied within each location. Prior to these operations, the backstage, the runway, the shooting areas, as well as the ancillary areas of the production studio (dressing rooms, toilets etc. ...) will have been disinfected with a virucidal product or with a bleach-based mixture. This also includes : ➢ Decoration and accessories ➢ The actual studio premises which include : o plane surfaces, cupboards, furnishing objects (pedestals, lamps) telephones, screens, keyboards, mice, chairs, armchairs, doors, handles, switches, technical equipment, furniture, tables, seats, various furniture. o sanitary facilities: basins, toilet seats, urinals, various dispensers, tiled wall surfaces, washbasins, taps. o The installation provided for the catering buffet in Paris for the fittings: plane surfaces, tables, high bar tables, furniture (chairs-stools), microwave, fridge, cupboard doors, drawer handles, drink dispensers etc... 2) Mandatory display A visible sign will be placed in the dressing rooms and on the stage as well as in any place where people may gather, to remind them of the obligatory disinfection of hands, the respect of distance and the basic barrier gestures which are : ➢ Wash your hands regularly, ➢ Cough and/or sneeze in the elbow, ➢ Use disposable tissues and only dispose of them in a closed rubbish bin, ➢ No shaking hands, and avoid hugs, ➢ Rules for mask use (putting on and taking off the mask), provision of specific bins for the treatment of used masks, ➢ Keep at least 1 meter away from everyone around you. 3) Products provided ➢ Bottles of hydro-alcoholic gel, single-use surgical masks and disinfectant wipes will be available in the dressing rooms and on the stage in addition to those already provided by the service providers for their own employees and equipment. ➢ A water point with soap and single-use paper towels will be available for regular hand washing during the service. Waste must be disposed of in closed bins that can be pedal-operated. 4) Organisation of casting and fitting phase Casting phase : The location chosen for the casting must allow the models to wait with the respect of a physical distance of at least 1 meter, as required by the "National Protocol of deconfinement for companies to ensure the health and safety of employees" of August 31, 2020. A bottle of hydro-alcoholic gel at the entrance to the waiting area will allow the models and accompanying persons to disinfect their hands. Distances will be marked on the ground by any means. Each model will have to wear a surgical protection mask when entering the House premises and will have to refer to the indications of the staff to know when they will be asked to temporarily remove it. Shooting, presentation of collections and showrooms During the fittings, each member of the staff present on the stage must wear a surgical mask and wash their hands regularly. Each member of the staff must individually and collectively respect the minimum distance of 1 meter in all directions between themselves and each other in relation to the model, as required by the "National Protocol of deconfinement for companies to ensure the health and safety of employees". On arrival at the House premises, the model must wear a mask, which he or she will remove before being given a surgical mask to wear when changing clothes. Before going to the artistic direction, the model can dispose of it. At the end of the fitting, each model must wear a mask again. 5) Clothing and make up The model may dress himself/herself if he/she wishes or be assisted by professional and qualified staff, dedicated to this operation, who must respect all the rules of this protocol and wear a surgical mask. The looks will be delivered on the backstage, disinfected beforehand and placed under closed garment bags. Each model will be the sole recipient of his or her look. Otherwise, after being worn, each garment will be disinfected with STEAMER or any other process which allows it to be disinfected. In addition, in the backstage area, an individual bag, disinfected beforehand, will be assigned to each model in order to collect their personal belongings throughout the services. The model will benefit from new make-up products or disinfected equipment. In the obligatory presence of a make-up artist or a hairdresser, they will have to wear a surgical mask. Whenever possible, make-up artists will have disinfectant boxes in which they can clean their accessories. The make-up protocol can be adapted to comply with changes in the situation and the health context. Each make-up/hairdressing station will be separated by Plexiglas-type walls or, if not possible, by a distance of at least one meter. In order to facilitate a possible health investigation, each House will implement the necessary means to identify the people who may have been in close and prolonged contact (e.g. identification of the models and the professionals assigned to them during the make-up/hairing/fitting stages, etc.). Break times and meal times must in any case be carried out in strict compliance with gestures of barrier and social distancing. 6) Fashion shows / presentations Models are not required to wear masks during the show, as long as each passage is at least 1 meter apart and the crossings are furtive and at least 1 meter apart. In the case of static and prolonged presentation, each model must be separated from the others by an effective distance of at least one meter and must perform shifts of no more than 15 minutes. 7) Backstage The respect of all the barrier gestures mentioned above is also imperative in the backstage areas following the shows and presentations. In particular, the wearing of masks and physical distance must be respected. 8) Alert procedures In the event of the occurrence of proven contamination among the staff of a House or its service providers, the House undertakes to declare the case without delay at the following address: ars-idf- [email protected] so that an investigation can be carried out and to ensure that viral circulation is under control. As the service providers of one House may be called upon to collaborate with a multitude of other Houses, information will be sent in parallel to the FHCM at the address [email protected] including the name and contact point of the service provider concerned so as to enable the Federation to anticipate and limit the consequences on the holding and smooth running of the Calendar of shows and presentations. 9) Evolutions These measures and their scope may be reviewed and adjusted in the light of regulatory developments and recommendations by the public authorities and professional bodies concerned by these issues. Done in Paris on 18 September 2020 .
