The 5210 Let’s Go! program is a national program based out of Maine. Staff Sgt. Ronneisha Sargent, HAWC dietary therapist, said the program promotes healthy daily living through five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, less than two hours of screen time, one hour of physical activity, and no sugary drinks, including juice and soda. “We want to break the cycle and get (children) healthy from the beginning, so they’ll be able to do that for the rest of their lives. It will be the norm to them to exercise every day, to choose more vegetables,” she said.
