Travel information A taxi drive between Helsinki airport and the city / THL takes approximately 20–30 minutes (longer during the rush hour) and costs around 40 €.

Public transport For traveling between your hotel and THL in Helsinki we recommend public transport. The hotels are located 1.5–3 km from THL, which can be easily accessed via tram (line 10 along Mannerheimintie to Pikku-Huopalahti).

The map below shows the hotels (Scandic Meilahti in section B2 and Scandic Park Helsinki in section C3; Crowne Plaza is located right next to Scandic Park Helsinki). The blue circles mark the nearby tram stops. Get off the tram at the stop ‘Tilkka’ or ‘Ruskeasuo’; THL is located between these two stops (in section A1). City center (e.g. railway station) is at the bottom-right of corner of the map (section D4).

Tickets can be purchased at sales points, at parking ticket machines, or by using the HSL app (HSL – Liput, Reittiopas ja liikenne).

You will need an AB zone ticket for traveling in the city (i.e. between THL and the hotels), ABC zone for the airport train.

 Near Scandic Park Helsinki and Crowne Plaza: R-kioski Ooppera (Mannerheimintie 58), next to tram stop ‘Ooppera’.  Near Scandic Meilahti: R-kioski Tukholmankatu (Tukholmankatu 11)  Near THL: Alepa Pikku-Huopalahti (Mannerheimintie 170), next to tram stop ’Ruskeasuo’.
