Dear Neighbour, Welcome to our April/May Red Neighbours newsletter, which provides you with the latest news and updates about what’s happening in your local community with Red Neighbours. COMMUMITY EVENTS In response to the coronavirus outbreak and the latest government advice, all community sessions delivered by Red Neighbours and the LFC Foundation have been postponed until further notice. Some activities will be available online, including Red Neighbours chair based yoga sessions and LFC Foundation physical activity and mindfullness sessions. More information on how you can get involved in these sessions will be available on liverpoolfc.com and foundation.liverpoolfc.com Further information on the postponement of activities, adapted sessions and new initiatives are outlined in the Community News section. To keep the spirits up of our elderly community who may be feeling the effects of social isolation during these uncertain times, we are inviting Community and school our young residents and their families to send us their pictures. The new initiative, which is a part of the club’s community response sessions postponed during the coronavirus outbreak, looks to bring some colour and cheer to our elderly neighbours in Anfield and Northwood . The health and safety of our local community, fans, participants, players and staff remains our top priority at this challenging time. Liverpool FC has made a £40,000 donation to Fans Supporting Foodbanks following the postponement of fixtures due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The RED Project is a digital collection of Liverpool fans’ personal photographs and stories, created by Emma Case, daughter of former LFC player, . The Red project is looking to collate stories and pictures of LFC’s cup finals, open top bus celebrations, meeting favourite players, and the magic of Anfield on match days. The project is creating a RED newspaper and an archive, and they would love it to be filled with fan’s glorious memories.
