The EU had recognised the importance of the issue and announced a "Green Deal" before coronavirus even took hold. The ambitious climate plan – the main project undertaken by the new Commission – aims for a climate-neutral EU by 2050. In order to achieve this, the EU intends to set up a one-trillion-euro investment programme. In addition, another billion-euro stimulus package for the "Green Recovery", which refers to the rebuilding of the economy following the COVID-19 epidemic, is also currently being discussed. With 08 regard to the coronavirus restart, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has said that investments in renewable energies, innovations, clean transport and sustainable food will play an even bigger role than they do at present. The industry also welcomes this view. It has to put this transformation into effect. Global corporations and investors such as Volkswagen, BASF, BlackRock and Allianz & Co. are shifting their focus to sustainability or setting goals to achieve CO2-neutral production, and are 16 thus calling for more renewable energy generation, including from onshore wind. Supporting projects now need to be effectively combined with the coronavirus aids discussed. The stage is now set for active politicians to implement proposals like these ones: start giving carbon pricing the framework it deserves! Relieve the EEG surcharge! Give local energy generation a chance! Shut down the old plants earlier, in other EU countries too! It has a nominal power of 4.3 MW and will be commissioned soon. The prototype (wind class IIA) has been built on a modular steel tower at a hub height of 132 metres. Hub heights of 126 and 155 metres will be available for the series-produced versions of this wind energy converter. The next step for ENERCON will be to focus on developing the wind energy converter type further. This second evolutionary stage of the E-147 EP5 has a nominal power of 5.0 MW and can achieve an annual energy yield of 18.1 million kWh with a mean wind speed of 7.5 m/s at hub height. This five-percent increase means the cost of energy for the E-147 EP5 can be substantially improved again. 4 windblatt 02_2020 windblatt 02_2020 5 Functional principle behind transponder-controlled needs-based nighttime marking systems ENERCON NEWS_ E-115 EP3 generator undergoes first tests Transponder signal in Aurich Default state: If no aircraft is in Aircraft approaching: The transponder the vicinity, the beacon system signal controls the beacon system, The generator of the new E-115 EP3 E3 wind energy converter type influence the overall behaviour of the WEC. “In the EP3 programme, is switched off. which switches on automatically. was installed on the ENERCON system test station for the electrical we are trying to generate as many synergies as we can from our expe- For air traffic safety, wind energy converters must be fitted with appropriate nighttime marking systems by July 2021. drive train in Aurich yesterday, and is now undergoing the obligatory riences. Its contribution to the historiography of the period stems from the fact that it constitutes the first academic study of the third largest resistance organisation in Greece, the 5/42 regiment of evzones. The study of this national resistance organisation can thus extend our knowledge of the Greek resistance effort, the political relations between the main resistance groups, the conditions that led to the civil war and the domestic relevance of British policies.

Analyses were performed on the samples by the methods XRF and XRD (along with Munsell color system) in order to identify the chemical and mineralogical elements that lead to the characterization of the clay used for the manufacture of ceramics. Moreover, analyzes were performed in clay soil samples (DS1-2-3-4), collected from surface survey in the neighboring areas of Agia Irini, Limnos and Meteles in order the local raw material to be examined. In this paper, are presented the results obtained from the analysis that focus on the chemical composition of both the clay and the raw materials. The results concern the characterization and the provenance of the pottery under study, along with the raw materials manufactured. The contribution of this study leads to the identification of the pottery and the long-term interpretation of the technology, applied by the potters at this Mycenaean site, concerning the technical level and the origin of the clay.

172 Book Reviews E. N. Stathopoulos, Revolutionary Fokida: The Generation of Twenty-One and the Fate of All the Veterans (on the basis of archival sources), Athens 1994, pp. 327. E. N. Stathopoulos examines a rather distressing subject: the treatment meted out to the veterans of the Greek War of Independence by the newly established Greek state, a fate they certainly did not deserve after so many years of sacrifice. He confines his investigation to the veterans from the prefecture of Fokida, some of whom have already received attention from other scholars who have dealt with the veterans of Parnassida and the province of Dorida. Stathopoulos takes published data into account and extends his own research to a further six lists from the period 1821-46, which bear the names of some 7,000 natives of Fokida. Owing to the sheer volume of material, the writer tells us, the work is divided into two volumes. The first, which is the subject of this review, gives a brief and considerably simplified introduction to each section followed by the lists of names, together with guidelines for their study. The second is es sentially an appendix, with indexes of surnames, demographic data, place- names, a chronology of the events connected with Fokida, a bibliography, an addendum, and the general indexes. The first volume is divided into six chapters, each of which bears the title of the list discussed in it. The general introduction to the book gives a brief account of revolutionary Roumeli by Yeoryios Ainian, a member of the Supreme Court of Appeal.
