Shop around for an OA journal

Use online tools to find a journal that meets your needs: ● Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) ● Web of Science ● Beall’s list of predatory and questionable publishers (507 journals and 693 publishers in 2015) . Questions to ask: ● How ‘open’ is this journal? ● Is this OA journal peer-reviewed, included in WoS, IF? ● How much is the APC? ● What are the APC funding possibilities? . Read Publisher’s Agreement before selecting the journal

Wiley 2016-2019: NL researchers can publish Open Access in around 1336 hybrid journals, with no publishing charge.
