Competition Rules The Wrestling competition of the 18th Asian Games will be held in accordance with the January 2018 editions of the United World Wrestling International Wrestling Rules and other relevant Regulations and competition Rules, in force during the Games time. The Rules are available at UWW’s official website http://unitedworldwrestling.org In case of any disagreement in the language interpretation of the rules and regulations, the English version shall prevail. Any unforeseen cases not covered by the regulations and rules shall be resolved as follows : General issues : Resolved in accordance with the OCA Constitution and Rules Technical issues : Resolved in accordance with UWW Rules and Regulations 7. Competition Format 7.1 COMPETITION PROCEDURE For all medal events, a direct elimination system will be used to produce two finalists who will compete for the gold medal. All wrestlers who lose against either of the finalists at any stage of the competition, up to and including the semi-finals, will contest a repêchage, which will take place after the semi- finals and before the gold medal bout. The winners of the two repêchage groups will each be awarded bronze medals, with the losers of these bronze medal bouts awarded an equal fifth place. Each weight category competition is organized in one day. 7.2 COMPETITION METHOD - Qualification Round - Elimination Round - Repechage Round - Finals - If there are 6 or 7 athletes in one weight category, the competition starts with a pool phase with two groups. 7.3 DECISION OF RANKING Ranking of each category is as follows : (1) 1st and 2nd place from the finals (2) Two winners of the bronze medal repechage matches will receive 3rd place (3) Wrestlers lost against bronze medal matches will take 5th place (4) From the 7th place, wrestlers of each category will be ranked depending on their ranking points, retirement or forfeit, injury or disqualification. In case of a ranking tie, they will be ranked by analyzing the following criteria successively: a. The most victories by ”Fall“ b. The most match won by superiority c. The most period won by superiority d. The most technical points scored in all the competition e. The fewest technical points given in all the competition (5) If the place of the wrestlers cannot be determined with the above mentioned criterion, they will be ranked ex aequo. - 1st place- 1, 2nd place- 1, 3rd place- 2, 5th place- 2, 7th place- 1, 8th place- 1, 9th place- 1, 10th place- 1 7.4 Medical control, weigh-in and draw The medical control and weigh-in will be held the morning of the concerned weight category. The draw for all weight categories will organize in the day before the first competition (mandatory for each team leader or his substitute to attend the draw). Sport Entries 8.1 Eligibility Only OCA member NOC’s are entitled to send athletes to participate in the Wrestling competition of the 18th Asian Games Only athletes who comply the OCA Constitution and Rules and its Bye-law are entitled to participate in the Wrestling Competition 8.2 Entry Timeline Entry by Sport - Deadline: 24:00 February 28, 2018 (Indonesia Time, GMT +7) Entry by Number - Deadline: 24:00 April 30, 2018 (Indonesia Time, GMT +7) Entry by Name - Deadline: 24:00 June 30, 2018 (Indonesia Time, GMT +7) 8.3. Entry Policies All athletes must be affiliated to or have a licence with UWW Individual Events: Each NOC may enter a maximum of one (1) athlete in each event. Total: Each NOC may enter a maximum of twelve (12 ) men and six ( 6 ) women class Wrestling from 18 class in wrestling. œ Age Limitation: Athletes for Wrestling must reach the minimum age of 18 (born on December 31, 2000 or before) œ NOCs that withdraw their athletes or teams after the submission of the final entries by name and Team Sport Draw will be faced with disciplinary action by the OCA EB. 9. Technical Officials Technical Officials and referees shall be appointed by UWW Asia and approved by UWW. Œ AF/IF HAS THE RIGHT TO APPOINT THE TECHNICAL DELEGATE AND ITOS IN COORDINATION AND APPROVAL OF OCA. IN CASE OF VIOLATION OF THE IF/AF RULES AND GAMES RULES AND REGULATIONS BY ANY PARTICIPANT, THE OCA HAS THE RIGHT TO REVOKE THE AD CARD AND PROPOSE CHANGE OF THE PERSON TO THE CONCERNED PARTY. 10. Technical Meeting - Date : August, 18th 2018 - Time and Place : 14.00 , Jakarta Convention Center Cendrawasih 11. Challenge Procedure Challenge Procedure shall be lodged in accordance with the latest UWW rules, The challenge rules are stipulated in Article 32: The Challenge, under the same Rules. All appeals related to the technical sides will be the responsibilities of the International and Asia Federations. œ Any Athlete/NOC can appeal to CAS, in case he feels that there is violation of IF/AF Technical Rules or OCA Constitution which is not related to reversing the decision of the referee or result. 12. Equipment and Clothing Equipment used and clothing worn by athletes and other relevant participants in competition must comply with the rules and regulations of the OCA and UWW in force. Doping Control and Medical Doping Control during the 18th Asian Games will be conducted in accordance with OCA Anti - Doping Rules applicable to the Asian Games and will follow the standards and procedures under the World Anti - Doping programme. INASGOC, in collaboration with the medical committee of the OCA will have in place the resources to assist in the investigation of any cases of disorders of sexual determination, should the need arise. The need for such tests and the processes to be followed will be as per the rules/procedures laid down by the OCA and we will to add Medical Services on field of Play 14. Medal Ceremonies First place will be awarded with a gold medal. Second place will be awarded with a silver medal. Two third places will be awarded with bronze medals. Fifteen minutes before the Victory Ceremony starts, the medalists shall be escorted to the Waiting Area to get ready for the ceremony. Medalists must wear their official NOC tracksuit. 15. Media Interview All athletes should pass through the Mixed Zone. Athletes and/or coaches should attend press conferences and interviews when there are interview requests for them. 16. Sport Information Center (SIC) All sport-specific information for Wrestling will be available at the sport information desks. They are located at the competition venue and at the Sport Information Center (SIC) in the Athletes' Village.

    Titles and Awards The Juvenile and Senior Corps have captured State Championship Titles, All-North Regional Championship Titles, Midwest Championship Titles, and most impressively, National/World Championship Titles. In April 2006, the Senior Corps competed at the International level for the first time when they traveled to Eindhoven, Holland for the World Championships. They were chosen to represent the United States in the Parade Corps Division and competed against other corps from all over the world. There, they won the Silver Medal. In 2009, they were again chosen as the USA Representatives for the World Championships and traveled to Ghent, Belgium, this time claiming the Gold Medal! Adding to the list of accolades, in 2012, the Touch of Silver Twirling Corps had the honor once again to represent the United States, Wisconsin and our local community in the World Championship held in Neuchatel, Switzerland. There, they captured two gold medals representing in the Junior and Senior Parade Corps divisions. In July 2014, the Senior Parade Corps won their 18th consecutive Grand National Title and will represent the United States in April 2015 at the World Championships in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy! Not only will they represent the United States in the Parade Corps division but this group of hard working young ladies earned the opportunity to also compete and represent the USA in the Twirling Corps division. This marks the first time in Touch of Silver history that this group will represent the Twirling Corps division at the World Championships.     Title: Deciphering Post-Nominal Letters Our Sovereign Order has a long and wonderful history and many traditions that reflect that history. These sometimes can be opaque to us today, and so from time to time it is helpful to review these “inner workings” to broaden the understanding among our members of how and why we do things. The letters after a person’s name tell us something about the person’s status and achievements within our Sovereign Order. To decipher this code, we need to be clear about three different elements of a person’s status within the order: 1) Type of membership 2) Rank and grade 3) Honours awarded. Types of Membership Our Constitution and Rules provide for three types of membership: 1) Dames and Knights – full members with voting rights, minimum age of 23 2) Demoiselles and Squires – full members without voting rights, minimum age of 18 3) Donats – employees or others serving the Sovereign Order being so honored. The third category is rarely used but provides a means by which a person who has faithfully served our Sovereign Order may be “admitted into the Order” while “not being admitted to full Membership.” Donats are not awarded post-nominal letters, and they needn’t be Christian so long as they have served faithfully and are deemed deserving of special recognition. Demoiselles and Squires are full members of our Sovereign Order. They are not awarded post-nominal letters but may hold offices of trust, though these usually will be at the Commandery level. They are eligible for promotion to Dame or Knight upon reaching the requisite age but, like all promotions, this must be earned by service and is adjudicated by the normal promotion assessment process.

Please understand, know and use this JSP, to provide that foundation of rules and regulations that will allow that confidence to be built. JSP 761 is the authoritative guide for Honours and Awards in the Armed Services. It gives instructions on the award of Orders, Decorations and Medals and sets out the list of Honours and Awards that may be granted; detailing the nomination and recommendation procedures for each. It also provides information on the qualifying criteria for and permission to wear campaign medals, foreign medals and medals awarded by international organisations.     Department of the Army – Medal of Heroism Medal of Heroism Medal of Heroism, is a U.S. military decoration awarded by the Department of the Army (DA) to a JROTC cadet who performs an act of heroism. The achievement must be an accomplishment so exceptional and outstanding that it clearly sets the individual apart from fellow students or from other persons in similar circumstances. The performance must have involved the acceptance of danger and extraordinary responsibilities, exemplifying praiseworthy fortitude and courage. Nominations will be: • Initiated by the SAI based on achievements described in a above. Such acts may have been accomplished while on or off the institution property. • Submitted by the SAI to the appropriate subordinate commander concerned for approval or disapproval. A DA Form 638 (Recommendation for Award) or a letter will be used. Statements of eyewitnesses (preferably in the form of certificates, affidavits, or sworn statements), extracts from official records, sketches, maps, diagrams, or photographs will be attached to support and amplify stated facts. The final approval authority is the Brigade Commander. Requisitions for the medals may be submitted to Defense Personnel Support Center, ATTN: DPSC–T, 2800 South 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19101 through the supporting installation. Presentation of this award will be made during an appropriate ceremony by a general officer or other senior officer of the Active Army. Department of the Army – Superior JROTC Cadet Superior Cadet - JROTC Superior Cadet Decoration, is an U.S. military decoration awarded by DA and limited to one outstanding cadet in each LET level in each JROTC institution.
