FEATURES, SPECIFICATIONS, BASIC ORDER INFORMATION CUSTOM SHADES Natural Woven Wood Shades Features Woven Wood Shades are made from wood, bamboo and rattan with painted & stained finish. Some designs have natural jute, grass & reeds. Variation in color, grain, texture and warpage are natural and should not be considered to be defective. Finish edges of the bamboo and large reed may crack after cutting and assembly due to the inherent property of natural material. We recommend that multiple shade orders of the same pattern be placed at one time. Woven Wood Shades are available 34 total colors and styles in 5 price categories: • Series 100 – Available in 8 Colors and Styles • Series 200 – Available in 5 Colors and Styles • Series 300 – Available in 7 Colors and Styles • Series 400 – Available in 5 Colors and Styles • Series 500 – Available in 9 Colors and Styles • Earth Art Shades – Available in 14 Colors and Styles (11 colors also available in roller shades) Shades are made in the Roman Fold Style unless otherwise specified. Old Roman Style (no valance) is available at no charge upon request. Hobbled Style is available for a surcharge (see price lists). See fold chart attached. Roman Fold Style - Shade is attached to the back of the headrail. The valance is attached to the top of the headrail and drapes over the front, covering the control mechanisms, lift cords and grommet holes. Old Roman Style – Shade is attached to the front of the headrail (no valance). Lift cords are behind the fabric. Hobbled Style – Shade is made like a roman fold style but the fabric maintains a cascading waterfall appearance even while lowered. Standard valance drop is 7”. Longer valances are available for a surcharge. Side Caps are available at no charge with outside mount shades or upon request. All mounting hardware is included (hold downs, extension brackets, & plastic spacers when specified). We deduct 0.5" off the ordered width of inside mount shades. Headrail and shade are same width. No deduction on outside mount. Headrail and shade are same width. Single Shade Width: Minimum width - 12” net width. Maximum width - 96” net width. Some Earth Art Fabrics have a maximum width of 72” net width. Maximum width for 2on1 or 3on1 shades is 120” net width. Order must include individual shade widths that add to the total headrail width. We will make the deductions to allow for the ½” gap between the shades. Shade Drop: Minimum - 12”. Maximum - 192”. 2” Cotton Twill Edge Binding in 8 colors is available on most shades. Binding is wrapped from front to back of shade on the side & bottom edges of both the shade & valance; or as specified. Duofold feature is available, see price charts for size limitations. Rollease Continuous Cord Loop System is available, see price charts for size limitations. Privacy or Blackout Liners are available on most shades, see color coordination chart. Limited Lifetime Warranty Free ground freight (up to 84" width) to the primary destination within the continental US. Shades with headrails over the size limitations will be subject to an additional freight charge of $50 for the 1st oversized shade per order and $35 for each additional oversized shade. Additional charges may apply to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and outside the continental US. Depth required for flush mount – 2”. Mechanisms: All mechanisms are mounted under the headrail and covered by the valance. Control mechanisms are stainless steel swivel cord lock & guided pulley. Lift Cords: Lift cords (polyester) are threaded from the front of the shade through grommet holes in the shade then attached to the back of the shade.
