ONTARIO PLOWMEN'S ASSOCIATION An Invitation A S Warden of Simcoe County, I extend to all a hearty invitation to attend the 1938 International Plowing Match. ^yji This County with a population of 80,000 covers an area of over a million acres, most of which is unusually fertile and includes some of the finest fanns and farm homes in the Province. The area is rich in historical interest as for many hundred years, the Huron Indians lived between Orillia, Penetanguishene and Wasaga Beach. Many of the most picturesque roads in the County follow the original Indian trails. When here plan to visit Champlain's Monument in Orillia, the Martyr's Shrine near Midland, the Grain Elevators at Port McNicoll, historical Penetanguishene, Collingwood Shipyards and Barrie the County Town. The Provincial Forestry Station at Midhurst is one of the largest in the Province and will afford visitors an opportunity to inspect these healthy plantations and study reforestation, considered of first importance, now. Members of the County Council, Service Clubs and othei' Simcoe organizations are uniting to make your visit most pleasant and join me in extending a cordial invitation to all.
