• New agri-environmental measure for Schleswig-Holstein • Temporary flowering buffer strips along water bodies • On arable land over 3 years  850 € / (ha*a) • Buffer strips > 10 m • Regional seed mixtures with rare species • No pesticides and fertiliser allowed

• High willingness to participate offering > 80 fields in 2020  priorization for 24 ha

• Farmers have mainly shown little experience with agri-envrionmental measures

• Support of the regional biotope network

• Purchase or long-term lease of buffer strips along all water bodies; payment of land market value • Obligation to maintain permant grassland • No pesticides, fertiliser and soil cultivation • Leaseholder/owner: Water and ground associations
