Access to the lab’s leadership class systems allows Boeing scientists and researchers to tackle problems that are beyond the reach of the company’s in-house supercomputers and HPC clus- ters. Because ORNL constantly upgrades its supercomputer capabilities, Boeing can also preview the latest in HPC hardware and software before adding new systems to their own data center.
