He is anxious to assist Denbighshire County Council and to build up the flood defences. School reorganisation was another issue and he is concerned about the future of some of the smaller schools in the area. He is also becoming increasingly concerned about Hospital services and he is awaiting proper proposals for the future of the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board. Local issues discussed included the upgrade of the A525 road from Denbigh to Ruthin; local firms bidding for major contract e.g. proposed North Wales prison at Wrexham.
