Recruitment is not limited to these areas only and candidates in other areas within these disciplines are also encouraged to apply. Chemistry Candidate must have PhD in Chemistry, and at least 3 years of Postdoctoral experience, from a reputed institution with a good research record and background. While all areas will be considered, the following areas are currently of special interest: Organic Chemistry: C-H Activation, Bio-organic and Medicinal Chemistry, Total Synthesis. Inorganic Chemistry: Inorganic Synthesis, Physical-inorganic Chemistry, Molecular Magnetism. Physical Chemistry: Spectroscopy, Colloidal and Surface Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry and Electrochemistry. Catalysis: Heterogeneous Catalysis. Civil Engineering Candidates must have PhD in Civil Engineering, or an allied area, from a reputed institution, and a good research record and background.
