Soul to Squeeze Red Hot Chili Peppers Member Profiles Member: Kevin Dennis Drums Notable Projects: Morning After, Suspect Sounds Like: Sorta like John Bonham, but probably more like Animal from the Muppets. Icon: John Bonham Admits to, in the 90's: The Jean Roll!! Personal anthem in the 90's: Radiohead: “Creep” Kevin is in search of photographs of him playing, where he is not making a ridiculous face. Photo by Joseph Gagliano, Madmann Productions Member: Keith Phoenix Bass Notable Projects: Paranigma, Ominous Grey Sounds Like: A pair of cargo shorts bulging at the seams with tones, effects, and versatility. Icon: Trent Reznor Admits to, in the 90's: The Old Navy vest and Fisherman Hat combo, with a side of JNCO's. Personal anthem in the 90's: 69 Boyz: “Tootsie Roll” Keith appreciates Blue Moon and people. Especially people with Blue Moon... for him. Photo by Joseph Gagliano, Madmann Productions Member: Ryan O'Rourke Lead Vocals Notable Projects: Paranigma, Ominous Grey Sounds Like: A full bodied vintage wine being poured through a silk sheet. Mmmm Smooth. Icon: Dave Grohl Admits to, in the 90's: JNCO's! Would be wearing them now if they still existed in a retail capacity. Personal anthem in the 90's: The Entire “Weird Al Catalog” Ryan took classical singing lessons from an eccentric old cat lady in his 20's. He accredits much of his current level of talent to her. He also now has the ability to endure the dreaded Siamese Yellow Mustache torture. Photo by Joseph Gagliano, Madmann Productions Member: Beau Sierens Lead Guitar Notable Projects: Bareknuckle Bullseye Sounds Like: A pentatonic scale sliding down into a power chord so massive, it will shake that Super Nintendo controller right out of your sweaty, (and for some reason) slightly hairy palms. Icon: Kurt Cobain Admits to, in the 90's: Being another Jean Roll victim!! Personal anthem in the 90's: Radiohead: “Creep” Beau was not allowed to play guitar as a kid. He got his first guitar three months before his 18th birthday. Loves Guitar. Guitar loves him. Photo by Joseph Gagliano, Madmann Productions Member: Jason Sheppard Guitar, Back-up Vocals Notable Projects: Jets to July, Manx, The Element Empire Sounds Like: Distortion bombs falling upon an unsuspecting village of innocent effect pedals. Icon: Josh Homme Admits to, in the 90's: Hypercolor.... But wasn't that an 80's thing, you ask? Yes. Yes it was. Personal anthem in the 90's: Smashing Pumpkins: “Mayonaise” Photo by Joseph Gagliano, Madmann Productions Jason operates a one man record label out of his basement. At least that is what he tells himself, and his wife, when the mess is brought up in conversation. Other Facts about the band: 1. 5 out of 5 members spent the 90's deeply steeped in video games. 2.
