Everyone's Favorite Cover Band! NO ALIBI – everyone’s favorite cover band! On the web at www.noalibirocks.com No Alibi is a dynamic cover band that has been rocking the central MA music scene for seven years now. With their ability to deliver such high energy shows, a crazy set list, and their non-stop desire to make the next gig their greatest, it is no surprise No Alibi has become one of New England's most sought after cover bands. The word is spreading quickly that these guys will bring the party every single time they show up. The clubs are always crowded and their following has continued to grow and prove this band is the real deal. No Alibi is a five piece band containing professional, talented musicians who love what they do. This is a great combination of musical veterans who are extremely energetic and have played in all sorts of venues to all sorts of crowds. No Alibi likes to attribute building their popularity by breaking away from the ordinary and using certain ‘X’ factors to separate them from others as a cover band. Their secret weapon is a vocalist/front man who is exceptional at reading crowds and playing to their strengths in order to lock them into the party and hold them until the last song ends. With their willingness to cater to all types of crowds and music; No Alibi has created a completely outrageous set list which includes Rock, Funk, Old school dance, Rap, Disco, audience participation and yes, even some Country. You just don’t see many bands go from Tim McGraw to Pearl Jam to Eminem to Kid Rock in a single set. These boys give it all they've got every time they hit the stage, and they only know one way to do it, FLAT OUT! The crowds are always crazy, and this band will keep you coming back again and again! The Times is known throughout Central Mass as THE place for cover bands to play, much like The Black Brimmer in Manchester and The Bayou Café in Albany NY. Bands come from all over New England to play our room. Three years ago, a local band named NO ALIBI played our room and rocked! They have energy on stage, play a wide variety of songs, and most importantly, brought a decent fan base with them into the club. Since then, they have continued to play our room on a regular basis and will for the foreseeable future. Sincerely, Scot Neri In November of 2005, we started providing Live Music to our customers. As a virtual unknown to the music scene, it was imperative that we made a splash with choosing the right bands for our customer base. Early on, one of the easiest and best choices we made was hiring No Alibi. The musical diversity of the band is great. They have consistently updated their song list, so their great following is always surprised by some new stuff, as well as playing their staple covers that everyone loves. A great mix of dance music and good old fashioned rock and roll keeps the crowd energized all night long. The members of the band are great guys, with front man Dave at the vocals and Kurt keeping the pace high at drums, you will find they perform all of the songs they do very well. The two guitarists, Mark and Mark are excellent musicians and have been known to ad-lib a song or two at my request. The bassist, Dave, in concert with Kurt, keeps the music tight. When it comes to integrity, this is a great band to work with. They are very reliable, never miss shows and are a great value to any business. In addition, they have been great to work with when we have done charitable events, helping out whenever they can. They all are true gentlemen. If your venue is looking for a proven high energy band with a great following, then No Alibi should be at the top of your list!     LATITUDE28 BAND Latitude28 Band is a Lake Nona-based entertainment cover band founded by Avinash Singh in 2018.     “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones (1965) Added to the National Registry: 2006 Essay by Dan LeRoy (guest post)* The Rolling Stones Not long before his untimely death in February 2020, guitarist Andy Gill of the British post-punk band Gang of Four was reminiscing about his love of The Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.” “That riff!” Gill enthused. “It was perfect. Every morning when I went to school, and every night when I came home, I marched along to it.”1 Former Gang of Four singer Jon King had innumerable disputes with his old bandmate. But on the subject of “Satisfaction,” the two had long ago reached a satisfying equilibrium. “I doubt there’s many rock music fans who don’t revere ‘Satisfaction,’” King observed. His description of the song’s attributes was admirably succinct: “Killer riff, spare, focused with intense and deep lyrics about alienation in a new consumer culture.” That two post-punk legends like Gill and King would revere “Satisfaction” is hardly a surprise. The divide between old-guard bands like the Stones and the then-new wave in Britain was never as pronounced as it first appeared. But what made the song singular in its time is, paradoxically, what also makes it universal, today and forevermore. More than any other song of its era, it embodies discontent and alienation--and not just the sort beginning to surface in the mid-Sixties. 1 After Gill’s death, an interview with the journalist and author Dan Epstein surfaced in “Flood” magazine. In that previously-unpublished conversation from a few years prior, Gill revealed that he had auditioned for Jagger’s band in the mid-Eighties, and that in rehearsal, he upstaged an outraged Jeff Beck by talking the guitar solo in “Miss You.” A number one single on both sides of the Atlantic in the summer of 1965, it captured the “rumbling of rebellion,” as guitarist Keith Richards put it, and became the Stones’ signature hit for nearly half a decade, until “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” arrived to supplant it as the decade changed.

    Sounds of Summer: A Beach Boys Tribute ~ Band Bios Matt Matt plays guitar and bass in the band and leads several songs throughout the show such as ‘Help Me Rhonda’, ‘California Girls’ and ‘Little Deuce Coop’. Matt started playing guitar at the age of 13 and always had a love for 60’s rock and roll. While Matt was in high school, he played in different bands with Connor, David, and Eric before going off to study at Berklee College of Music. During the summer of 2013 Matt had the idea to start Sounds of Summer after finding 4 matching striped striped shirts in a dumpster behind a bowling alley (jk)…Actually the idea was sparked when he and David started learning a few Beach Boys songs to perform with their own band and thought “This would sound a lot better with 3 other guys!” (we settled for 2). After graduating from Berklee in Dec 2013 he began constructing the various pieces of the show with the other 3 members in mind. Lucky for Matt it seemed like a good idea to them as well. Matt now lives in Nashville, TN where he plays with several other groups when he is not bowling or selling ice cream with Sounds of Summer.
