N E T THE SEOUL DERBY: PERSONAL EDITION The Seoul Derby is an awesome biannual event in Seoul each year hosted by Hallie Bradley of The Soul of Seoul, but if you can't make it, this is definitely the next best thing. Whether you're on your own or with your family hoping to have some fun while you check all the boxes, or if you have some friends you want to compete against, this is the list for you. How To Play: Read through the list and make sure you know what everything is before you begin. They are in no certain order so you'll want to plot your course first. Make notes in the margin.If you're in teams, you get a point per mission completed. For those missions with multiples like the 5 palaces, you get a point per palace. Give yourself a time limit and then go go go! Korean flags aflutter. NOTES The most famous tower in Seoul. Can you find the "unicorn-lion" that roams? Sewoon Sangga rooftop view of Jongmyo Shrine. Koreans love their side dishes. Get at least 5 in a shot. Have a tea in a traditional tea house. This UFO-like shaped landmark hosts fashion shows. Traditional Korean dresses are all the rage. Wear 1 or get a shot with others in them. Bukchon Hanok Village is beautiful, but can you get a photo of the tiled rooftops from above? There are 8 gates in the Seoul Fortress Wall. How many can you find? How many palaces can you visit this season? Grab a bite in a traditional market and share a shot. This machine will be your friend, it tops off your T-money. This iconic river is a must visit this season. The best vendors sell socks, socks, and more socks. Do you know where to find some K-pop buskers? How many quirky, cool, fun cafes can you visit?
