Conduct regular presentations to promote manufacturing career pathway opportunities with the South Shore Career Center and community based organizations that provide workforce development assistance and resources in the region. Continue work with educational institutions and local manufacturers in the development of specialized training and certificate programs that meet the workforce needs of area companies. Establish a data base of companies that offer apprenticeship and internship opportunities to effectively link students and jobseekers interested in a manufacturing career with the available career opportunities.
