IBM issued a statement of direction in April to indicate plans to enhance the HMC with support for Power Systems blades among 2012 Michigan IBM i and AIX Technical Education other capabilities. At the same time, IBM announced that the Systems Conference Director Management Console (SDMC) will be withdrawn.
