Bring paper and pens for taking any notes. Bring your mat, yoga blanket, props you like to use, water bottle, flashlight, and layers of clothing to move between yin and yang classes.

Friday, June 10: 2-5pm : Registration begins at Sorrento Memorial Hall (across Passchendaele road from Sorrento Centre). Be sure to check into your accommodations at Sorrento Centre or at your motel/B&B. 5pm Dinner at Sorrento Centre (for those who have purchased meals)

6:30pm Welcome and Orientation at Sorrento Memorial Hall 7-9pm Opening with Sarah and Ty Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Coming into being with and entering the silence with meditation with Ty. Sarah will describe the path of Yin/Yang Yoga and lead us through a floor practice of both passive and active postures. Ty will drop us into the foundation practice of Mindfulness

Saturday, June 11: 7-7:30am Morning Meditation with Ty Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Welcoming Impermanence and developing Calm Abidance After speaking briefly about the 3 marks of existence the Buddha related to Mindfulness, Ty will lead us in a 24 minute Shamata practice. 7:45am Breakfast at Sorrento Centre

9am-12pm Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Strong and Soft: developing our generative and receptive capacities Sarah will lead us in a mixed Yin/Yang practice, , and Mindfulness focusing on both the surface and center of the body, as well as learning to flow with the changing contents of the mind in Mindfulness.

12:15pm Lunch at Sorrento Centre 1:00 Free time: Join Wendy Weymann to go standup paddleboarding on the beach! (Please note! Sorrento Centre does not provide lifeguards at the beach) Walk the Labrynth. Check out the yoga products for sale. Take in a yoga tie demo.

3:30-5:30pm Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Revitalizing our essence energy with Yin Yoga and Pranayama Sarah will lead us in yin poses designed to nourish the Kidney and Liver organs and meridians, bolstering our deep health. We will also cultivate Yin and Yang energies within us with a Pranayama practice and develop an understanding of how to work with the dukkha (the way we struggle with what is and the 2nd characteristic of Mindfulness) in our life and in our minds through Mindfulness and Lovingkindness methods.

6:00pm Dinner at Sorrento Centre 8-9pm Evening Meditation talk and Practice with Ty Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Bring your questions for Sarah and Ty, then enjoy being lead through a body based meditation with Ty

Sunday, June 12: 7-7:30am Morning Meditation with Ty Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Ty will speak on the 3rd characteristic of Mindfulness (Our habits of selfing) and lead a 24 minute present moment awareness practice 7:30-8:45am Insight Yoga with Sarah Powers at Sorrento Memorial Hall Sarah will lead you through the essential components of a daily practice, including a slow flow dedicated to developing a conscious awake body. 9am Brunch at Sorrento Centre

10:30-11:45am Aligning ourself with our deepest values, with Sarah Powers at Sorrento Centre. Sarah will give a talk on committing to a daily Insight Yoga practice, offering a handout to take home so you can continue with your practice.
