Zaatar w Zeit hosted their first Rolling & Baking Event at their Springs Souk branch. Children took part in a dynamic activity where they learned how to roll and bake Zaatar w Zeit’s famous Manakeesh from our own back-of- the-house team!

6 CINNABON & SBC ROLLING AND BAKING Cinnabon and SBC hosted a visit from the students of Arcadia School for a fun-filled day. The visit started with the story of Cinnabon that was accompanied by a variety of sample rolls and beverages for students to enjoy, including fresh juices and water for kids and coffee for teachers. This was followed by a short Q&A session where awards for correct answers were given. Paul Denz Roxas explained to the students all the safety precautions being followed at Cinnabon as well as gave them a tour of the baking stations. The students were then asked to participate in a dynamic rolling and baking activity in which they learned how a Cinnabon is made. Lastly, a delicious lunch of wraps was served to the students and their teachers at Zaatar w Zeit.
ISSUE #100 FEBRUARY - MARCH 2020 7 CRAVIA TOWN HALL MEETING Our Group CEO, Domenic Di Deo, shared the company general overall results for 2019. He also set the vision for 2020 and beyond.
A special inaugural CEO Award was announced and awarded at this meeting.
The biggest winner for the day was Borhan Dali for his positivity and hard work; also Ahmed Said was awarded for his continuous support and commitment.
A special award was also given that day by our Director of Operations, Marwan Kandeel to the following honorees team members: Lara, Abdul, Aya, and Edmund.
8 A PLACE IN MY HEART This is our 100th newsletter, all of which were filled with memories and unforgettable events with stories. Let me share with you my journey with Cravia. I still remember the time when I was questioning my decisions and wondering what to do next with my career. It wasn’t easy being away from my family, yet here I am today, celebrating my eighth year at Cravia. Cravia taught me the values of being independent, responsible, a team player, and being committed. I also learned to develop my skills alongside a passionate group of individuals who are dedicated to their careers and are goal achievers. In my years here, I’m still amazed how this company continues to grow and inspire a lot of people, not only at work but also with their personal lives. It is truly an honor to be working here. Cravia will always be a part of my life, where I am molded to be a better version of myself. He will be supporting the internal audit function of the Cravia Group while being based in Riyadh, KSA. Muneeb is a CA (finalist) and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (University of the Punjab, Pakistan). He has more than six years of auditing experience across various sectors during his tenure with BDO Pakistan and most recently with BDO Bahrai before joining the Cravia Group. Muneeb loves playing table tennis in his spare time. Please join us in extending a heartfelt welcome to Muneeb and wishing him the best of luck in his new role.

10 FIVE GUYS ‘ORDER & WIN’ CAMPAIGN Five Guys partnered with Talabat to launch an interactive ‘Order & Win’ campaign across four days. The campaign rolled out for customers with an initiative to order through Talabat to win a new iPhone 11 Pro. The raffle took place on January 2, 2020, and the award was handed out by the FG-DFC RGM Mohammad Charif and his team to selected lucky winners
