10 3 Harvest Festival and Moderators Visit THE CHURCH YEAR We felt very privileged to share worship with the Right Reverend Susan Brown and her Chaplain Rev. Jim Stewart at our Harvest Festival Service, 23rd Sep tember. Rev. Susan shared our service with our Locum minister Rev. Pauline Steenbergen and the whole service was one of thanksgiving. A certificate of gratitude signed by the Moderator was given to Michael Fair for his dedication and long ser- vice of 50+ years as organist at Saughtree Church and later at Liddesdale. The church looked beautiful thanks to the talent of some of our ladies . The sun shining through the win- dows was and absolute joy to see. All food products collected for harvest festi- val will be given to the Salvation Army Food bank in Hawick along with the plate collection of £90 .

What fun we had…………. LENT Lent begins on Ash Wednesday.
