Suganya, The maximum tuber yield 013/002 Permanent to AP (SS&AC) (43.0 t ha-1) and starch Manurial Experiment Nov, 2018 content (26.62%) was 5 on cassava in red recorded by the application sandy loam soil of Integrated Nutrient (Typic Rhodustalf) of Management (FYM @ 25 t ha- Yethapur under 1 + STCR IPNS based NPK Irrigated situation (110:131:133 kg) and Azophos @ 2 kg ha-1). Soil organic carbon content was higher in the application of organics (0.42%) which was followed by Integrated Nutrient Management (0.39%). Soil available nitrogen (267 kg ha-1), phosphorus (7.38 kg ha-1) and potassium (387 kg ha-1) was higher under the Integrated Nutrient Management (FYM @ 25 t ha- 1 + STCR IPNS based NPK (110:131:133 kg) and Azophos @ 2 kg ha-1) in permanent manurial experiment. Higher microbial population of bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes was recorded under organics (70.23, 34.68 and 10.28 respectively) followed by Integrated Nutrient Management (67.28, 32.15 and 10.17 respectively). Higher enzyme activity of dehydrogenase and phosphatase was recorded by organics (98.7 and 463.5 g g-1 dwt soil h-1) followed by INM (98.4 and 460.7 g g-1 dwt soil h-1). Completion report preparation is in progress. 4 NRM/YTP/SAC/TAP/2 March Dr.S. Suganya, Field experiment was 017/001 Evaluation 2017 to AP (SS&AC) conducted in two different of New Micronutrient Feb, 2019 soils (Red and Black soil) with Fertilizer Mixture for calcareous and Non- increasing the calcareous soil. productivity and Simultaneously four starch content in experiments was conducted cassava in two different soils with calcareous and non- calcareous soil viz., Red non- calcareous at TCRS farm, Red calcareous at Thalavaipatty 6 village, Black non calcareous soil at Umayalpuram village and Black calcareous at Ramanaickanpalayam village of Pethanaickanpalayam block of Salem district during Jan-Feb 2018. Observations on growth, yield attributes, tuber yield and starch content were recorded at harvest in all four trials. Post harvest soil and plant samples were collected for analysing the nutrient content. Data analysis is in progress. 5 DCM/YTP/CRP/TAP/2 Nov, 2017 Dr. M. K. Kalarani, The cassava genotypes 017/001 Evaluation to Dec, Dr. S. Suganya and TCMS7 and Me681 performed of cassava genotypes 2019 Dr. P.S.Kavitha well under 120mM NaCl and for salt tolerance recorded more root length of 7.67cm and 4.6cm and root volume of 1. 78cc and 1.67cc respectively followed by Kungumarose and H226 in the nursery experiment period of 30 days. Also these genotypes recoded minimum reduction in shoot length and number of root in salt imposed plants. In this experiment I, Me681 and TCMS7 were selected as salt tolerant, H226 and Kungumarose as moderately tolerant and Sree Athulya as salt succeptible for further investigation in experiment II. Experiment II was initiated on 02.04.2018 with Me 681, TCMS H226 Kungumarose Shree Athuliya and two treatments of control and 120mM of NaCl salt level. Chlorophyll, soluble protein content, SOD and peroxidase activities analysed and Metabolomic study under progress. Now the crop is in maturity stage and will be harvested during last week of Feb, 2019. 7 6 HCRI/YTP/ HOR/TAP/ August Dr.P.S.Kavitha 17 entries of released 2017/001 2017 varieties and accessions Evaluation of suitable to were chosen for the trial cassava variety for August Planting taken up during rainfed ecosystem in 2020 august in kolli hills and hilly areas of Tamil October at karumandurai Nadu hills Crop at kolli hills are in tuber initiation stage and the crop at karumandurai hills are in vegetative stage.
