V priebehu posledného roka sa dostupná technológia dostala na hranicu, keď je možné oklamať aj dobre trénované oko diváka a transformovať zovňajšok herca do podstatne mladšej podoby. Uvedená technológia sa neustále zlepšuje. Začínajú sa využívať nové technologické postupy, pomocou ktorých sú tieto efekty realizované. Pri vizuálnych efektoch je však dôležité, aby v prvom rade slúžili k podpore plynutia príbehu a aby ostali bez povšimnutia diváka. Za všetkými prelomovými vizuálnymi efektmi boli vždy ambiciózne vízie režisérov a realizovali ich talentovaní umelci. Jedným z týchto režisérskych vizionárov je bezpochyby filmár Martin Scorsese. Vďaka spomenutému režisérovi sa etablovala nová revolučná technológia, ktorá môže zmeniť spôsob, akým sú prostredníctvom filmu rozprávané niektoré moderné príbehy. Hlavným cieľom príspevku je načrtnúť aktuálne otázky spojené s „omladzovaním“ hercov na filmovom plátne a diskutovať o ich praktickom uplatnení vo filmovej tvorbe Martina Scorseseho. Quantitative data was gathered through the analysis of eight videogames that are new, world-famous and there is a presence of female characters and a survey completed by 111 young people to evaluate their level of awareness regarding gender roles, as well as the language that these characters use. The results show that video games explicitly or implicitly have differences in gender roles and sexist factors that influence the identity of the female characters and the respondents were fully aware of gender stereotypes. However, a significant part of them decided to continue playing these games, although they demanded a change in the videogame industry.
