Coming off of a handy 2 ¾ length win at Gulfstream Park, CLASSY DANCER stepped up to Stakes company for the first time in her 3-year-old season in the Honey Rider S. going 1 1/16 miles and turned in a career best 83 Beyer to run 2nd. Two starts later, she shortened back up in distance for the 5 ½ furlong Stormy Blues S. in which she ran a career-best 9 Thoro-Graph. READY TO WIN N1X – CLASSY DANCER was last seen running 3rd against Allowance- N1X company. She overcame a troubled trip after being bumped at the start and ran on well to finish a fast closing third, only missing the winner by a length. She’s ran well around both one- and two-turns posting speed figures that indicate she is ready to go on and win her next condition. Gulfstream Park track announcer Pete Aiello said it best in his race call: “Camilla Princess just went from last to 3rd in a textbook turf trip by Miguel Vasquez… Camilla Princess never left the inside and she went from last to first and she’s charging hard already!” JULY 7, 2018 - $100,000 STORMY BLUES STAKES (5 ½ FURLONGS) AT LAUREL PARK 3rd by 1 ¼ lengths, 78 Beyer, 9 Thoro-Graph WATCH RACE REPLAY (SHE IS ) CLICK TO VIEW CHART Only two starts after running 2nd in the Honey Ryder Stakes going 1 1/16 miles, CLASSY DANCER shortened up to 5 ½ furlongs and was just beat by 1 ¼ lengths for 3rd. Classy Dancer earned a career best 9 Thoro-Graph and was beaten by multiple SW MIZ MAYHEM and SW FACTOROFWON who were both coming into the race off Stakes wins themselves. LOOKING AHEAD CLASSY DANCER is coming off a solid2018 campaign where she was Stakes placed sprinting and routing. She is sitting on her N1X win and her versatility can be utilized for a racing campaign in 2019. Once she is ready to retire from the track, CLASSY DANCER is an exciting broodmare prospect and offers breeders an entryway to a strong Kentucky-family that has produced G1W winners and stallions: TIZNOW, PAYNTER and OXBOW.
