My spell at Bid Four FC was the shortest in the history of Rosedale Open, since Stephan Rink has taken over the club already. As I mentioned, he will not be bound by the limitations I imposed upon the club, so be aware of that. The early deadline for issue 3 is Friday June 5, at 21:30 CET. It's always Fridays at 21:30 CET. The deadline for issue 3 is Friday June 12, at 21:30 CET. It's always Fridays at 21:30 CET. Publication date for issue 3 is Wednesday July 1. It might be out sooner. If issue 3 is out on time, the deadlines for issue 4 will be July 10 and 17. If you have heard nothing by the expected publication, feel free to get in touch to check up on it. Next issue, you send orders for: * match days 3 and 4 in the league (see section 12) This round, the home advantage remains 6 VP. The home team is listed first in the league schedule. All cup games are on neutral field (no home advantage). In addition, as always, you send coaching. Optionally, you can also discover talents and buy/sell players. Orders that reach me before the early deadline clearly marked «final» waive your chance to change them, in return for a cash bonus of 20 kKj to your club. By the time you read this, I have already sent out your teams.. 2. Broadcast messages Jed Stone, Frillby United: «From the Sports Section:- LONGDALE COURIER – Skelsthorpe The last season ended with a win on the Pools for a local businessman (Cut-Mi-Own-Throat Dribbler). It was also marked by a mystery surrounding the training grounds of the football teams and the claim that the teams were being spied on by aliens. There has been speculation that there is a connection between Mr Dribbler's big win and the reports of flying saucers and the alien 'Footy Beast' watching teams training, especially as no 'aliens' have been seen since the end of the season. The police however, consider the threat to the Clubs now to be minimal and are still investigating the 'Freedom for Armadillos', Siberian Naturalist Group who they believe have links with the 'footy beast' and possibly have an alien connection. Despite this the Clubs however, do not appear to be taking any chances on the alien rumours not being true. Several teams still have anti aircraft guns around their grounds ready to shoot down any flying saucers attempting to spy on the team training and all but two have security guards on permanent guard around their grounds. Only Frillby United and Slartibartfast now have their grounds security free.» Steve Janecek, Sheffield Thursday: «Due to the loss of teams and the needs to promote extra teams to the premiership, Sheffield Thursday returns to the top division. Having spent only 4 seasons in the top flight in the 30 prior seasons and none in the past dozen or so, the manager was ecstatic. "I know we did not necessarily earn it, but here we are and I couldn't be more excited," said manager Janecek when we fortuitously caught him out celebrating with his family at dinner. When his wife was asked for comment, she quipped "who cares" and shooed us away like flies. As we left we caught the manager looking back at us apologetically shrugging his shoulders. It may be a long season and we aren't referring to the Rosedale Open...» 3.
