Read thefollowing psssage carefully and answer the questions (Q.1 to 5) given below it : Since the world has become industrialized, there has been an increase in the number of animal species that have either become extinct or are nearing extinction. Bengal tigers, for instance, which once roamed in the jungles in vast numbers, now number only 2,300 and by the year 2025 theft population is estimated to go down to zerc. What the alarming about the case of the Bengal tiger is that this extinction would have been caused almost entirely by poachers who according to some sources, are not interested in material gain but in personal gratification. This is an example of the callousness that is part of what is iausing the problem of extinction. Animals like the Bengal tiger, as well as other endangered species, are a valuable part of the world's ecosystem. Interrrational laws protecting these animals must be enacted to ensure their survival, and the survival of the other planet. Countries around the world have begun to deal with this problem in various ways. Some countries, in order to circumvent the problem, have allocated large amount of land to animal reserves. They then charge admission fee to help defray the cost of maintaining the parks and often must also depend on world organisations for support. When they get the get the money, they can invest in equipment and patrols to protect the animals. Another solution that is an attempt to stem the tide of animal extinction is an international boycott of products made from endangered species. This seems fairly effective, but it will not by itself prevent animals from being hunted. ffitud nqTer 6t qnT{6 q@t rril t trn qn s?lf Q.I nQ.s) d ftffi t n sfr frtqa gffi: qc d gtrqr 6T ffiffio-tur $TI t, qn-+-rl tnT u-qrFrqt 61E{qr if TE g€ t qt * n1 6-gw d tr€ t qr trSn *i d m-trq t r soctur * ftrd, qrnd d qrq,'fr 6?fi frrnd srqrt ffi d q"A r), * d{6{ 2,300 qtt tr{qr t t 3rtr q{ zozs d6 tsTeit srrqrfr ygq d-s qri mr 3r{cn t I qrno erfln d qHA d EAt-sro crkr trd t fr d trEa-dr dtrr'r gfr a-rt d ffi d onur g$ d'fr ut qu stdt d sr-Jfln, ?frFrfi qfu anr d Tff qfurr{ d-{fr f afr rr+a t r qa cffitr .FT trs ecr6-r"rE q} trgq eti 6T ttrr€IT 6-t 6-Itltr t t q:rrrd dr{trr, dtpr fr 3rq gwffq c"ilrFrsT ffi qrq-qt gF-qr d qrRfrTFroT arr 6r trs qn-d$ c-dr€Wf Ftrr t t fl oT zqr 6-r+ qrd $ffiq o.ryn 6i B-{d 3Tkd 3fl" {flt a-s d srfrrcq st gfrtrd-d 6-{i'd ffi ar1fr-wqrcr ilFA r gF-w lrr d Mi nnrq ilffid E-atrrr€rT d frqd fr1 vj63Trd oT t t E6 iflt i, aq-tqr 6i Etfr-{rt o.-{i d F-} q-.S qrx d ,lfr 6t qrrs-r] d ,rsrt d ffi 3TrdFdffiqrt ti crcqrdGblq-.trrtsi+Tarrraotmqo"-ridTcq6-{idfuu-nwvjo+4il 3r}r 3ltFr{ Eqei{ d trd fttc-q ffi qt fi ftifu f{r qrtrd r qs s€ tsr fi-mdr t, dt d qqqd o1 qten S rrcd qt" frild 3q-6"ur s*t d frdcr ds-A t r w 3{-q trflqT'r u} uq figq *i d qn o} gc m-c+"or us. cQnfl t, qnrrq u-drFrqT d qi B-fird .F-I ucF iTilffirI qFq]" t r qa 6.rh1 wrrfi arrm t, rtFhq qa erqi eTrc fr qrq-{tt 6t trrdnrt di d rS *drtr ' Q.1 Which of the following best describes the author's attitude? Read the.following pussage carejully und answer the questions (Q.91 to 95) given below it : The average life span of humanity throughout all history was twenty-seven years. In the nineteenth century, however, science and improved technology trebled life expectancy. As technological capabilities improved and life expectancy increased, the number of babies per family went down, demonstrating the factthat nature keeps on balancing the population figure. After major wars, when large number of young and healthy men are killed, baby-making increases. The birth rate continues to rise for five years or so after the war ends until the score is rectified. A1l this happens without conscious cooperation or even the knowledge of the human being. When the probabilities of human survival are poor, nature makes many babies. When the chances of man's survival improve, nature reduces the number of new babies-
