Pred.nami.je.nova,.47..številka.Naših.jam..Tokratna.številka.zamuja.z.izidom,.tra- jalo.je.kar.dve.leti.od.izida.prejšnje.številke..Vzrokov.za.to.je.več..Predvsem.bi.mora- li.biti.v.uredništvu.bolj.aktivni.pri.pridobivanju.avtorjev,.piscev.člankov..Vendar.je.to. kar.težko..Veliko.je.aktivnih.jamarjev,.veliko.je.novih.odkritij,.manjka.pa.avtorjev,.ki. bi.to.prelili.na.papir..To.je.velika.škoda,.saj.tako.številna.spoznanja.utonejo.v.pozabo. in.nove.generacije.jamarjev.bodo.morale.pričeti.delo.znova. Podobne.težave.imajo.tudi.nekatera.druga.glasila..Opažajo,.da.se.zlasti.tisti.av- torji,.ki.so.bolj.profesionalno.povezani.z.znanostjo.raje.odločajo.za.pisanje.v.tujih. revijah.ali.revijah.napisanih.v.tujem.jeziku,.saj.jih.k.temu.sili.sistem.točkovanja.in. vrednotenja.objav..Naše.jame.že.zaradi.jezika.ne.bodo.nikoli.mogle.konkurirati. takšnim.revijam..Menim.pa,.da.bo.njihov.pomen.v.Sloveniji.s.tem.le.narasel,.saj.je. pomembno,.da.so.spoznanja.o.slovenskih.jamah.in.krasu.objavljena.v.domači.reviji. in.jeziku. Naše.jame.izhajajo.letno,.zato.ne.morejo.biti.ažurne.v.smislu.tekočih.jamarskih. raziskav..To.nalogo.lahko.pokrijejo.klubska.glasila.in.seveda.nova.revija.Jamar..Pre- pričan.sem,.da.obstaja.potreba.po.glasilu,.kot.so.Naše.jame,.kjer.se.na.strokoven. način.opiše.jame.in.jamarstvo.ter.objavi.tehtne.razprave.ob.zaključenih.raziskavah. jam.ali.ožjih.speleoloških.problemih..
