Review recipe 24 - 48 hours in advance of preparation. 2. Gather all necessary ingredients, equipment, and service ware. Preparation Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Lightly grease each bun pan with 1 tsp. softened butter. 3. Place 20 slices of bread on each full bun pan, 4 across and 5 down (4 x 5). 4. Place 2 slices (2 oz.) of cheese on each slice of bread. 5. Top cheese with second slice of bread. 6. Spread remaining butter sparingly over top slices of bread. (It’s easier to spread thinly if butter is very soft and bread is frozen or partially frozen). 7. If sandwiches are made ahead, cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil to prevent drying. 8. Heat to an internal temperature of 140 degrees. Sandwiches should be lightly golden brown. Special Instruction: Do not use end slices of bread for sandwiches.
