Inuit Training and Development Program 8 Community Engagement . RCL plans to work closely with the Inuit leadership in the execution of its ITDP and will seek their guidance and support. We have already developed relationships with the following organizations: – Inuvialuit Regional Corporation – Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. – Nunatsiavut Government – Kitikmeot Inuit Association – Qikiqtani Inuit Association – Kivalliq Inuit Association – Nunavut Sivuniksavut – Tungasuvvingat Inuit – Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami 9 Inuit Training and Development Program RCL’s Inuit Training and Development Plan includes 1. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Program Utilize STEM initiatives and introduce into local community schools to develop the youth and create interest in pursuing a future in STEM. Includes programs such as Lets Talk Science. 2. Cooperative Education and Career Development Program On the job training and career development for students. 3. Apprenticeship and Trainee Program Opportunity for IBs to develop fundamental job skills and gain experience by working NWS that can lead to future job opportunities. 4. IB Leadership Development Program Develop core leadership competencies of Inuit staff. 5. Mentorship Program Mentoring. Annual IB conference. 6. Community Recruitment Program Recruitment and Employee Retention. Trade shows and exhibitions intended to connect with the Inuit community. Maximize the Recruitment, Development, and Training of Inuit Beneficiaries 10 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Program . Build youth interest in science, technology, engineering, and math through implementation of STEM programs in local schools. This program is intended for students only. Focus on STEM will encourage students to study the necessary basic skillsets needed to obtain technical roles on NWS. 11 Cooperative Education & Career Development Program . Full-time or part-time opportunities, available in spring, summer and/or fall . All of which offer the flexibility students need to accommodate a busy college schedule, while also providing: . Develop the leadership characteristics of current and future leaders. Tailor existing courses for IB Leadership Development. Courses take place at Raytheon facilities, CMO, North Bay and/or the LSS sites. The planned courses include a subset of Raytheon’s formal leadership development program as shown above 14 Mentorship Program . Develop Inuit Owned Company’s (IOC) core competencies through mentorship . Train sub-contractors on how to properly and effectively bid for Government and Contractor issued NWS projects .
