Crystaqueous Original draft—May 2017 Kerala India Upgrade—January 2019 Reloaded—Ahmedabad India, June 2019 A Fun Disclaimer All pink beyond-Vedanta books are agendaless! Each of which may be likened to a golden universe wherein abounds the joy of laughter! Hence, such are not instructional booklets, as there are none in existence who could possibly fall into the category of needing instruction. Neither do these utterances offer a whit of hope to any, for none exist who need hope. Such alone constitutes fun declarations of That which Joyously Is. Of a surety, there are no beings that can come to know That which Is. All that Is—Is Eternally and Immutably That! Consequently, never are these utterances advanced as an attempt to change the minds of any or to divert play acting entities upon the earth-stage from the belief dynamics that each hold in their own minds. Such can never actually be done anyway even though it may appear to some to the contrary. All human roles are finely scripted to the nth degree! All writings constitute simple statements depicting the nature of The Magnificent Earth Drama Divine as related to Reality Absolute. That which is written obviously is known by All—for The All is the Sole Eternal Knower. Hence, to all who ponder these writings, absolutely nothing excepting a laugh or two, may be gained! Likewise, to all who read them not nothing possibly can be lost! (In all such themes, the ego of dream and the so-called human thinking mind are always synonymous.) Interestingly enough, although Osho played such a neat role of treating on how none can ever be present in the Now moment as the One who Is the Immutable Light, if they are goal oriented, yet he reveals that he himself is goal oriented still in declaring that he is here to persuade all others to drop their goals! The very notion conveyed by the verb persuade, is a future or goal oriented consideration! Even to change a condition or state of being/mind to assume a status it has not yet become! Oh the fun roles that I Am has Scripted into the Show of hilarious Make- Believe! And of course behind all the roles is the pure-fun-loving comedy- minded Universal God-Self of All! No question about it—Osho's role was among those designated in the Script as being Reality Absolute focused roles—as were those of Sri Ramana Maharshi, Joel Goldsmith, Marie S. Watts, Alfred Aiken, Lillian de Waters, plus many more! All such roles obviously are played only by entities that appear to be on the brink of human mind termination! These appear practically egoless! That is, they appear—in a unique sense—to have already dumped the ego or Story thinking mind, when in fact, they've not yet completely role terminated! Even a shred of coaxing others energy—in thought, word, or body-language— is ego energy to its core! And yet, All of these—Ramana, Joel, Osho, Alfred, Marie, and Lillian, and all other such like—are as utterly non-existent as is Crystaqueous! All are merely fun and fabulous Thought-forms—beautiful cloud clusters in the sky of Mind! Fictitious story stuff to its amusing core! Bottom line—ego isn't! Fun Brahma Alone Is! Incredible and Splendid Story Celestial! Such is the Amusing Way of Our Fun Cosmic Play! Divine Mind—embodied as role terminated Stage entities, invariably expresses as utterly agendaless—just like a flower or majestic tree! Unreality cannot be treated in any way shape or form-period! Bliss Mind has absolutely no mission here except to laugh and have much fun as Eternally Such has done, and Timelessly will continue to do! Hence, such is never expressed as inclination to save, liberate, teach, coax, prompt, convince, sway, entice, lure, heal, influence, encourage, admonish, persuade, alter, caution, change, destroy, ought of the unreality upon Its Fun Stage/Show of hilarious Pretend! All is perfect in being precisely what it is! So Fun is Our Marvelous Earth Play! I laugh when I hear that the fish in the water is thirsty. I laugh when I hear that men go on pilgrimage to find God. Kabir Oh Play Divine ever so fine, the way out of nothing is losing one's mind! Seemingly! The Ultimate IMAX Theatre It is as though, we—a great host of Blissful fun-loving Eternity Beings, are gathered upon a highly magical celestial stage mind & image-projecting onto a gigantic thought-type mystical Screen an incredible and awe-striking imaginary Story—the Cosmic Dream of a so-called Dualistic Human Existence! Our beyond eager Audience—consists of the Timeless, Boundless, and Beautiful Family Absolute—the rest of Our Happy Brahma Self! Such Joyous and utterly harmless Universal entertainment knows no bounds! Our laughter ceases never! Our Fun ceases never! Hence: “Essentially Guadapada is saying there appears to be a spiritual path with a seeker and a goal and things to do and things to not do, but actually all there is, is Reality. The spiritual path is an illusion. He makes this clear in this famous oft quoted verse from chapter 2 verse 32 of the Mandukya Upanishad: ‘”There is neither dissolution nor creation, none in bondage and none practicing disciplines. There is none seeking liberation and none liberated. This is the absolute truth.’” A Commentary on Gaudapada, Tom Das Fun Conclusion of the Whole Matter The Earth Stage, being not an actual place, much less could the so-called births, wars, romances, sufferings, and deaths that seem to transpire thereupon be real! All is the incredibly magnificent fiction of Our fun Imagination Absolute! Harmless, Joyous Entertainment, is—hands down—paramount among Our Passions Divine! Fantastic and extraordinary are Our Mind Shows Absolute! All dream considerations—bar none—inclusive of all so-called beyond Vedanta pink books, plus every line of their contents along with their seeming authors—are simply appearances of things that do not nor ever could actually exist anywhere within the Awesome Infinity that Is Our Splendid Self! Oh what fun are the misty dynamics of Our Magical Cosmic Appearances! It is said that the Real is sweetly poised behind all such amusing appearances—and yet, We— the Real, is poised behind nothing—ever! Oh Celestial Joy—the entirety of Isness Timelessly Being the Loveliness and Beauty of Usness! Marvelous Show of Mind O mystical trance-dance obsession of fun, no ignorance is possible, naught exists save the One! No misery, no fear, no guru to boot, no disciple, no duality, so magnificent a shoot! No pathway nor awakening to reality absolute, no books, no teachings, exist to refute! No Play Divine being enacted as live, holographic illusions by the cosmos contrived. Even this article, appearing so actual, tis mystical tinsel never possible as factual! With entertainment the likes such as this, naught can prevail save absolute Bliss. Causing to appear that which is not, brings fun and a laughter that’s truly beyond thought. The demise of seriousness its suffering overturned, our Bliss Self remains ever free from concern! Yet when all's said and done the clarity remains, no seriousness or suffering ever existed to be slain! Evil is not and harm cannot be, this is the truth of the One who can see. Hilarious themes- a quality sublime, such is the heart-art of the Lover Divine. Hearty cheers to our Maya so Magical, hip hip hooray Cosmic Plays beyond radical! Beautiful Brahma the Celestial All, obsession have We with Life’s endless ball! Brahma perception is fun- Perfection Perception Far Eastern Lore “The person seeing Perfection is the Master.” (Life & teaching of the Masters of the Far East, Baird Spalding-Vol. 6, pp62,63). “We make no comparisons, we see only the Christ or God-quality in all at all times and in that way we are out of your (human) vision. We see Perfection or have (and always are) perfect vision.” (LTM, Vol. 1, pp88,89). “This is exactly the manner in which the Masters meet every situation. ‘What appears (to so-called human or finite mind) exists not at all,’ they say. They are not hypnotized by the opinions held by the race (or so-called human existence) nor conditions as they appear to the race, for they know Reality. Their determination is in the Realm of Facts and they traverse time and space just as Columbus sailed across the edges of the earth. There were no edges to the earth and there is no time or space to the Master. They are all illusions just as the flat earth with its edges was an illusion. “This is just what Jesus meant when he said, ‘get thee behind me, satan,’ as it is translated. In reality he said ‘get thee behind me limitation,’ for there is no such thing. He put it out of the range of his consideration and conduct, for in his illumined state (or Divine Mind perception) there were no such things. He saw through the hypnotic spell, the veil in the temple, and lived (indeed, lives) wholly in Reality.” (LTM, Vol. 4, pp82,83) “Furthermore, a man endowed with Self-knowledge feels no incentive to action, such as the attainment of the desirable, the relinquishment of the undesirable, the reforming of the impure, or the changing of one substance into another. All these incentives are found only in the relative (or dream) world characterized by good and evil, pain and pleasure, and the other pairs of opposites.

SHANKARA: A HINDU REVIVALIST OR A CRYPTO BUDDHIST? by KENCHO TENZIN Under The Direction of Kathryn McClymond ABSTRACT Shankara, the great Indian thinker, was known as the accurate expounder of the Upanishads. He is seen as a towering figure in the history of Indian philosophy and is credited with restoring the teachings of the Vedas to their pristine form. However, there are others who do not see such contributions from Shankara. They criticize his philosophy by calling it “crypto-Buddhism.” It is his unique philosophy of Advaita Vedanta that puts him at odds with other Hindu orthodox schools. Ironically, he is also criticized by Buddhists as a “born enemy of Buddhism” due to his relentless attacks on their tradition. This thesis, therefore, probes the question of how Shankara should best be regarded, “a Hindu Revivalist or a Crypto-Buddhist?” To address this question, this thesis reviews the historical setting for Shakara’s work, the state of Indian philosophy as a dynamic conversation involving Hindu and Buddhist thinkers, and finally Shankara’s intellectual genealogy.

    Sri Adi Shankaracharya The permanent charm of the name of Sri Shankara Bhagavatpada, the founder of the Sringeri Mutt, lies undoubtedly in the Advaita philosophy he propounded. It is based on the Upanishads and augmented by his incomparable commentaries. He wrote for every one and for all time. The principles, which he formulated, systematized, preached and wrote about, know no limitations of time and place. It cannot be denied that such relics of personal history as still survive of the great Acharya have their own value. It kindles our imagination to visualise him in flesh and blood. It establishes a certain personal rapport instead of a vague conception as an unknown figure of the past. Shankara Vijayas To those who are fortunate to study his valuable works, devotion and gratitude swell up spontaneously in their hearts. His flowing language, his lucid style, his stern logic, his balanced expression, his fearless exposition, his unshakable faith in the Vedas, and other manifold qualities of his works convey an idea of his greatness that no story can adequately convey. To those who are denied the immeasurable happiness of tasting the sweetness of his works, the stories of his earthly life do convey a glimpse of his many-sided personality. Of the chief incidents in his life, there is not much variation among the several accounts entitled 'Shankara Vijayas'. Sri Shankara was born of Shivaguru and Aryamba at Kaladi in Kerala. He lost his father in the third year. He received Gayatri initiation in his fifth year. He made rapid strides in the acquisition of knowledge.

    A NEW APPROACH TO GAUDAPADAKARIKA - N. Aiyaswami Sastri Gaudapada's work, that is, his Karika in four chapters, may be regarded an important landmark in the development of the Advaita Vedantic thought. His exposition of Advaitism is unique and without parallel in the Vedantic literature. He does not follow the traditional line of argument for upholding his thesis. The language he has adopted is Buddhistic in many parts. He employed several expressions which are common to Buddhism and its philosophy and which create impression in the mind of readers that the author (Gaudapada) was a follower of Bud­ dhism (v.V. Bhattacharya's edition of the Karika). It is mysterious indeed why Gaudapada should have at all adopted such an ambiguous language betraying his trustfulness to the Advaitic thought and tradition. He is traditionally regarded a disciple of the sage Suka in the Sveta. up. bhasya ad 1,8, and a grandpl'eceptor of Sri Sankara through Govindabha­ gavatpada (v.R.D. Karmarkar's edn. ofthe Karika, Introduction). He has, perhaps, been influenced by Buddhism, especially in its later developed form, because he was a native of the Gauda country where Buddhism was a prominent and popular faith in his days. He might have aimed at propagation of Advaitism in the popular language and style of Buddhism which might appeal to the lay as well as the learned men of the society in those days. This appears to be the most plausible explanation of the riddle why Gaudapada adopted such an ambiguous style which being improperly understood would convey the converse of what he intends to convey.

Therefore, I have undertaken this study to clarify and interpret the trikaya. The main textual source is Asanga's Mahayanasamgraha, which contains the earliest systematic outline of the Vijfia.nava.da system. The Buddhological passages have first been translated (from Tibetan and Chinese) in light of the commentaries by Vasubandhu and Asvabhava.
